What I Packed For My Beach Vacation
Over the holiday break, my husband and I got to take a quick beach vacation to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
It was great to reconnect and have a little downtime with him!
I like to buy some new things for trips like this, but typically I have a hard time with beach stuff. And, let’s be real… trying on bathing suits is NOT FUN!
So I’m really excited to share all of the amazing suits and cover-ups. Hopefully these finds will help YOU gear up for your upcoming trips.

Becca One-Piece Suit
I love the suit above. It’s a gorgeous, olive green, crocheted, one-piece suit.
Becca is a really popular swimwear brand that works for women of many different body types and ages.
I think all of the pieces are really fashion forward, but also functional.

Striped Cover-Up
I wore the olive green suit (above) with a chic, striped J. Crew cover up.
It’s a shirtdress… so it’s quite versatile. You could wear it as a dress, cover-up, leave it open… even belt it!
Panama Hat
I brought my Panama hat with me.
I ordered a packable one, but it didn’t come in time…so I just stuffed the inside of my hat full of swimsuits so it didn’t get crushed in my suitcase.
White One-Piece Suit
Another swimsuit I wanted to show you is one by OYE. These suits are BEYOND glam… like the most sexy, glam suits out there! Stunners.

Black One-Piece Suit
Here is another suit that didn’t arrive on time. But it’s gorgeous, sexy and flattering.
I think it covers up AND exposes all the right places!
Palm Print Cover-Up
This cover-up is so beautiful. The way it flows when you move… is so elegant.
It’s one of those pieces you can wear from the beach to lunch, and feel very appropriate and pretty.
Pom Pom Pareo
Another piece I found is this pale pink floral pareo by Lovers + Friends.
It’s so versatile…you can tie it around your waist or wear it as a halter dress.
Black Maxi Dress
This cover-up/maxi dress is stunning! The fabric is lightweight so you don’t get hot, it has pockets, the length is great, and it flows so beautifully.
Perfect option when transitioning from the beach to the restaurant.
Tropical One-Piece
Another swimsuit I wanted to show you is this super fun tropical print one piece by La Blanca. You can wear it as a deep v, plunging suit, or criss cross the straps around your neck.
The under bust band detail is quite flattering.
Ruffled Top & High Waist Bottoms
The last swimsuit I wanted to show you is this two-piece combination I put together.
The top is a bandeau style ruffle top by Trina Turk. The bottoms by Becca, are ruched and high waist.
I never thought I’d like the high waist bottom, but I think it’s wonderful. It covers up that lower tummy, problem area. I felt so secure and comfortable.
Pink Cross Back Dress
The last thing I wanted to share is… this dress! You can wear this on your beach trip, for destination weddings, parties, even a swanky event. It is a stunner.
It has a deep v in the front and an equally gorgeous back. It comes in a bunch of standout colors.

These are beautiful pieces. However, I’m 5’ 1 and 34dd I diner see any of these pieces working for me besides the j.crew cover up. Maybe you could do pieces for different types figures?! You looked amazing in every piece!
