Midi Skirt Styled For Fall
I bought this printed IRO midi skirt in Madrid and while I’m not usually a huge fan of prints, I LOVE the dark, moody pattern. I knew it would be perfect for fall and winter. The draped fabric on the skirt and side ruching is flattering and great for camouflaging a tummy. I paired it with my favorite Spanx bodysuit. It’s perfectly fitted and has just enough of a scoop neck to be sexy and still provide coverage. I threw on a leather moto jacket as my third layer. It adds a bit of grit to this otherwise feminine outfit. I’m wearing Schutz black booties to complete the look (yes, they ARE comfortable, for heels). They’re the perfect fall booties when you want a little extra height, I love the pointed toe, and the heel is just under 3″ so it’s manageable.
If you’re interested, I shared more of my favorite booties (all under $100) in this post.

Midi Skirt Styled for Winter
Yes, this is the same skirt! Only this time, I paired it with a matching IRO silky blouse. I love that this neckline offers some versatility…you can wear it as a slouchy turtleneck or with an open collar. I added a Bottega Veneta waist belt to break up the pattern and accentuate my waist. You could easily dress this look up even more with some pumps or heels, but I went with a pair of tall, scrunched Vince Camuto chocolate brown suede boots for added warmth. These boots also come in a gorgeous tan color and black with croc embossing. You could also pair the skirt with a chunky black sweater and a long coat when temps really drop. Or, swap out the knee-high boots for combat boots and black tights.
Both of these looks would be amazing for Thanksgiving. If you’re looking for Thanksgiving outfit inspo, I shared 10 chic options ranging from casual to dressy in this post.
