There is nothing wrong with this Monique Lhuillier cocktail dress (below)…
But, I really don’t like the top on me. It’s ill-fitting (since I’m slightly lacking in the chest department)
And, I feel like it’s a bit too young for me.
But, I LOVE the skirt! It’s fresh, fun and flirty!
So, my stylist brain starts spinning… thinking of ways I can reinvent this dress to highlight the skirt, but cover the top.
I put this really cool BCBG faux leather peplum top over it.
Added… this Ann Taylor waist belt, booties…et voila…much more ME!
The bottom line, before you get rid of old dresses, think of ways they can be re-invented to fit your style personality today!
