Statement Sleeves for Spring!
Structured sleeves, puff sleeves, ruched sleeves…it’s all in! Statement sleeve tops have been in style and on-trend for a while and it seems like they’re here to stay! If you missed my spring trends video and post, make sure you check those out. And watch this video if you’re interested in 2020 jewelry trends.
Structured sleeves are one of my favorite trends and favorite ways to create a very flattering body shape. If you’re like me and have a rectangular body shape, you’ll love these tops because they make your waist look smaller and more defined! And even if you’re not, you’ll still love these stylish structured tops for spring. The only exception would be those of you with broad shoulders. If you have wide shoulders already, you probably will not want to jump on this trend. If you’re not sure what your body shape is, make sure you watch this video to figure it out and then these other videos for tips on how to dress your specific body type.

IRO Structured Shoulder Top
First, I want to talk about this gorgeous structured shoulder top by IRO. I love the sexy, plunging neckline and the super structured shoulders. It’s a VERY flattering blouse.
If you’re worried about cleavage, just throw on a lace cami underneath. As you can see in the photos above, pairing this top with fitted jeans and adding a belt creates that coveted hourglass figure. In my case, it makes my waist look smaller too.

#1 | Pink Structured Top
Pink is one of my favorite colors and that’s why I have four pink options in this post! (sorry not sorry) It’s also one of the trending colors for spring so I wanted to give you plenty of options! This top is by Susan Monaco and is the perfect shade of pink! I love the pleated sleeves and they definitely make a statement!
#2 | Pink Puff Sleeve
This ribbed, puff sleeve top is perfect for layering this spring. It’s a great weight and has just a little puff in the shoulders for those that want to try out the trend! It looks great on its own or under a stylish jacket.
#3 | Pink Sweater
For those of you who live in a place with a cooler spring, this puffed sleeve sweater is a pretty option! It’s a mid-weight fabric but since it’s short-sleeved, you’ll be cool enough!
#4 | Hot Pink Belted Top
This hot pink blouse has the fun shoulders AND a flattering belt for creating that waistline. Tie it in the back so it’s not as sweet, or lose the belt and add your own.
#5 | IRO Structured Blouse
I love this IRO blouse! The pleated accents, peplum hem, and v-neck details make this a real standout!
#6 | Jacquard Blouse
This blouse is by Chelsea28 and comes in black and pink as well. It’s super soft, has a cool jacquard pattern, and fun sleeves! The sleeves run a little long so keep that in mind if you have shorter arms.
#7 | Frame Blouse
Frame is one of my go-to brands for beautiful, high-quality blouses. The fit and fabric is ideal if you are petite. This blouse is next on my wish list for spring! It’s sleeveless, silk, has a keyhole, and beautiful shoulders!
#8 | WAYF Puff Sleeve Top
Remember this WAYF puff sleeve top from last year? They have it in a ton of colors now and this lilac color would be perfect for spring! You can see how I styled it in this post.
#9 | Ruched Sleeve Top
I love this shade of blue for spring! This top is casual enough to wear with some white denim shorts and sandals. Or dress it up with jeans and some jewelry!
#10 | Blue Puff Sleeve Blouse
For a flirty, fun feel, try this pale blue blouse. It has cute button details and fun, puffed shoulders.
#11 | Animal Print Blouse
Animal print is another one of those trends that is not going away. This top has a very subtle cheetah print and is a gorgeous deep blue color.
#12 | Sheer Blouse
I’ve seen this style blouse more and more recently and think it’s so chic and fashion-forward! I love the sexy, sheer material.
#13 | Metallic Puff Sleeve
This blouse actually has boning in it so you’ll feel super sucked in and secure. I love the metallic pattern. It would be perfect with a pair of jeans and heels for date night.
#14 | Black Puff Sleeve
Another perfect date night top. This one is by Amanda Uprichard. It has a sexy deep v-neck and cool oversized sleeves. I bought this and absolutely LOVE it!
#15 | Brown Structured Blouse
I LOVE the color of this top by LPA. You know how much I love brown tones and this color is called Espresso! This top is a great date night option and the sleeves are so beautiful! I am going to wear this one with high rise jeans and high waisted white pants in the spring/summer. It is cropped, so you have to wear with higher waist pieces.
Okay, so are you planning to try this one?? Why or why not? Which of these tops is your favorite? Please share in the comments below.

these are beautiful tops and blouses, but all are fairly expensive. it would be nice to see a wider mix of price points, with some pieces that are more affordable ($50 or less) and also, available and not sold out! Thanks for your elegant advice, as always!
I love the Amanda Uprichards black puff blouse. It can dress up an jean, skirt or pant.
