That Feeling When Your Favorite Blouse is Under $100!

Long Sleeve Lace Blouse Styled Two Ways

I love it when I find a gorgeous, versatile piece. And…when it’s also affordable, it’s like the cherry on top of the sundae. (Or in my case the whipped cream since I really don’t like cherries.)  When you find something you truly love, you pretty much want to wear it ALL THE TIME. That is exactly how I feel about my high-neck, lace top by WAYF. I love it SO much I wanted to show you how you can wear it a couple of ways. The first look is dressier and the second is more casual.

Look #1 | Lace Top

If I could only choose one top in my wardrobe that I had to wear every day, it would be this one (above) by WAYF! (Yes, I know that this hypothetical situation will never happen, but you get the point.) This lace top by WAYF is so feminine, flattering and pretty. Anndd… it’s ONLY $89!! The lace looks VERY luxe for the price. It even comes with a built-in beige camisole so you don’t have to worry about it being see-through. The puff sleeve and ruffled neck give it the perfect amount of drama. And the gold-tone buttons at the cuffs are a beautiful detail. This blouse also comes in black.

I styled the top with these classic and versatile dark wash skinny jeans by L’AGENCE and a pair of super sexy pumps by Christian Louboutin. These pumps are insanely UNCOMFORTABLE so I do not suggest buying them unless you just want some ridiculously gorgeous shoes that I would consider “Car-to-restaurant” heels. You can always go for a lower, more comfortable option, even flats. You can wear this look to date night or out to dinner with friends.

Look #2 | Lace Top with Cargo Jacket

I wanted to give you an outfit option for this standout top that is a bit more casual. By pairing the WAYF blouse with a cargo jacket and swapping out my heels for mules, I created a daytime appropriate look.

I LOVE this peplum cargo jacket by Frame. It’s going to be a heavy hitter for me during the fall season here in Telluride (all 4 weeks of it 😉). It’s a great mix of masculinity and femininity. The jacket is also very ‘in’ style. Modern utility will be everywhere this fall. Think cargo jackets, cargo skirts, shorts, pants, etc. I mentioned in a recent video how I am wearing these comfy and chic peep-toe mules by Vince Camuto… all the time. They’re a great neutral color, and go with everything! You can see another way I styled them in this post. I’m carrying the newest addition to my handbag collection…a mini white Gucci bag! I love this one because you can carry it as a crossbody, shoulder bag, or fanny pack!

  1. Hi Erin, I love the clothes you suggest and your honesty in all that you say. Even admitting you don’t like cherries. Neither do i. Keep up the good work. We’re thinking of moving from CA to TX. So looking forward to more cold weather outfits. Is the lace blouse true to size? I’m a 4 on the bottom but not sure a small would be comfortable. Does it run larger? Thanks.
