Don’t get us wrong, throwing on a chic top and jeans is always one of our go-to options for almost any occasion. But when you don’t feel like thinking about what top to pair with what bottoms, throwing on a matching set is a great option! Wearing a matching set is simple, requires little effort, and is SO chic. We’re sharing 8 matching sets below…two for the office, two for date night, two for lounging, and two for the gym. Let’s dive in…
Office Matching Sets
#1) Matching Camel Suit for the Office- BR camel blazer & pants
Wearing a matching suit set to the office is a no-brainer. But instead of going with a simple black blazer and pants, change it up with something interesting like this camel suit. Instead of a super-tailored blazer, this blazer has a more relaxed fit. It’s a really soft wool that’s warm but breathable, has a little stretch, and is wrinkle-resistant. If you don’t already have a neutral blazer, this one is great! Instead of traditional tapered trousers, Erin’s wearing super wide-leg trousers, which are the real star of this look. They are made out of the same breathable wool fabric and they’re SO flattering. If you want to take it a step further, wear a blouse in the same color family like the camel silk button-down Erin’s wearing. It’s so soft, looks luxe, and creates the perfect monochromatic look.

#2) Denim Suit Set for the Office
You can wear this super chic denim Veronica Beard set to this office if you have a more lenient or fashion-forward dress code or even to an event! The suit jacket is a cool denim blazer with luxe buttons, contrasting stitching, and a super flattering fit. We love this look with the matching pants, which are perfect for petites because they have a cropped bootcut leg silhouette. Underneath the blazer, Erin’s wearing a cool white button-down with an oversized collar that gives the outfit some drama and edginess. She completed the look with her favorite black Stuart Weitzman sock booties, but you could also wear pumps, loafers, or flats.

#3) Winter White Date Night Set
Now for some sexy date night options! In this look, Erin’s wearing a sweater skirt in the perfect midi length. It is more fitted, and curve-hugging, which is very sexy. Erin styled it with the matching turtleneck sweater. It is pretty cropped and the skirt and sweater together do show some midsection, which is a consideration. Both pieces have a gorgeous cable knit texture and are thick enough to keep you warm. The other great thing about these pieces is that you can style them separately with other items in your closet.

#4) Sexy Chain Link Date Night Set
This look is a bit of a wildcard but it’s SO different and fun that we had to share. Erin’s wearing a matching set by L’Academie that’s so sexy. The top and skirt both have super flattering mesh ruching (that’s not see-through) and unique acrylic chain details. The skirt has a slit on the front that also adds to the sexiness. You can pull the skirt up a bit more so you don’t show as much midsection too. If this feels a little out of your comfort zone but you like the look and feel, consider trying just the top with a pair of high-rise jeans to make it more accessible and casual.

Loungewear Matching Sets
#5) Erin’ #1 Lounge Set
Erin loves this Spanx loungewear set so much that she has it in three colors! It’s not just the perfect loungewear set, but it’s also perfect for travel. The fabric is SO soft, it’s comfortable, and you still look chic and pulled together. The half-zip pullover can be worn zipped or unzipped as far as you want. The pants are equally as comfy as the pullover and have the perfect, flattering wide-leg fit. They also come in multiple length options so you can get what works for you. Erin loves the regular pants in the petite inseam but the cropped pants in regular inseam are also great (both linked below).

#6) Classic Loungewear Set
This next set by Z Supply is SO comfy, super soft, and very chic. The sweater has ribbed details at the hem, collar, and cuffs that makes it feel more elevated. Erin is wearing it with the matching pants that are the same soft and comfy fabric. She styled the loungewear with some New Balance sneakers for running errands but she’s also worn it with her slippers around the house for a cozy day at home.

Activewear Matching Sets
#7) Matching Activewear Set
If you’re looking for some cute new activewear to start off the new year on a high note, this Beyond Yoga set is a great option! We love the neutral beige and white color combo. The leggings have a crossover V in the front that’s very flattering and the 7/8 length is perfect. The bra top is supportive enough for light to medium exercises like yoga and Pilates but we wouldn’t recommend it for HIIT or intense cardio. You can throw a sweater or top over the bra to and from the gym or your workout class. We linked them at two retailers in case you don’t see your size.
#8) Activewear Jumpsuit
You caught us…this isn’t technically a set. BUT it’s so cute we just had to share! Erin’s wearing a cool activewear jumpsuit by Port de Bras that’s unbelievably flattering. You can see how the chevron print down the sides cheats in and creates a super slimming effect. We also love the more muted colors on the sides. It has a double-layered bodice and is made out of high-compression jersey fabric but we would only wear this for low-intensity workouts like weight lifting, yoga, and Pilates.
