My family and I recently took a trip to the beautiful Seychelles, and the suits I packed were among some of my all-time favorites. They really are too good to gatekeep. I’ve been loving all of their retro inspired swimsuits, and couldn’t wait to try out the Alexandria Color Blocked Bikini. It is absolutely gorgeous. This suit feels super secure, has a high waist that provides excellent tummy coverage, and the design is just stunning. I can’t get over the beautiful gold button details, textured fabric, and flattering color blocking. It’s modern, stylish, and so unique. This second suit from Free People is made for water sports—from surfing to wakeboarding and everything in between. Plus, the classic black-and-white color combination pairs effortlessly with everything in your beach capsule. I just love how functional and flattering this suit really is. I’ve taken it on multiple beach vacations and can confidently say that it holds up beautifully. Sizing note: this suit runs small.
3. Bold & Beautiful Bikini
Last on this list of flattering swimsuits is a bit of a wildcard. I know I said to stick to darker colors for the most flattering look, but sometimes, especially—on a tropical vacay—you need some color. This swimsuit by Agua Bendita makes a statement while remaining sophisticated and chic. Blue and white floral print is a very elegant way to add some color into your beach capsule, and I absolutely adore the matching wrap Pareo cover-up.
