Metallic Trend

The metallic trend was super hot in the 80’s and while metallics never really went away, they are crazy popular again right now. We wanted to share a few metallic pieces that are all super wearable ways to try the trend. These metallic clothes and accessories are great for adding that little extra sparkle and shine to your holiday outfits and New Year’s Eve looks! But you’ll also wear these finds year-round. Metallic Slingback Pumps

Metallic Slingback Pumps

Let’s kick things off with these gorgeous Franco Sorto slingback metallic pumps. They have a cushioned footbed which really helps with the comfort factor, and an on-trend flared heel. If you want to dress up a pair of jeans and a sweater like Erin did, it’s one easy way to pack a little extra excitement into your look. We love the gold metallic shine, and they also come in a cool red metallic color called Mars. If you have trouble with slingback straps slipping odd your heels, these have some elastic on the straps so you get a secure fit.

Glam Tee

For a super simple and accessible way to try the metallic trend, it doesn't get much easier than a not-so-basic tee. Styled with jeans and a blazer or with a pair of leather pants, this t-shirt is the main event but oh-so comfortable. It has a relaxed but not too boxy fit and comes in 4 other metallic shades.
2

Modern Loafers

These comfortable cracked silver leather loafers are the flats you didn't know you needed! The leather is super soft and not overly shiny, and the slingback strap is adjustable, so you get that perfect fit. One of our team members bought these on a whim and has worn them so much more than she thought she would. Style them with jeans and a sweater now and maxi dresses come spring.
3

Coolest Jeans

If you are beyond dipping your toe in the water when it comes to the metallic trend, these loose fit silver jeans are for you. They have a bit of stretch, a cool split hem, and even come in Regular, Tall and Petite lengths. These are so fun! You can style them down with a simple sweater and sneakers or dress them up with a black blouse and heels. You don't have to save them for a special occasion, because they are just jeans...with a twist! And, they are only $86.

Sticking with another more adventurous option, how cool is this metallic puffer vest?! This versatile vest is as much for weekends and workouts as it is for stylish strutting. It's the perfect semi-cropped length to wear with your high-waisted jeans and pants and it's made from a nylon fabric that is machine washable (bonus!). The bronze metallic option is selling out fast, but the vest also comes in silver and a pretty metallic green.

MOST Flattering Top

This Steve Madden top has that wow factor! It has a flattering v-neck surplice neckline which is wonderful for so many body types including women with a larger bust. It's gathered just above the natural waist and has a flouncy peplum hem so it will also help mask a tummy. We love the slight puff shoulder which creates the illusion of a nipped-in, slimmer waist. SO pretty and a great price point at $79.

Wrap It Up Glam Style

This metallic wrap scarf is a lovely piece to have in your closet to drape over your wedding guest dress, party dress, or formal gown. It has the perfect amount of elegant shimmer and also comes in a pretty rose gold. If you already have a basic black pashmina, this metallic wrap will add a bit more glam to your look.
