I covered a few Grammy Awards while working at WCBS. It was always one of my favorite events to cover despite the fact that I literally know nothing about music. I remember dating a guy who was kind of a music snob. He made fun of almost all the music on my iPod, and was especially appalled by Toto. I have no shame in the fact that I love “Africa” and music from the 70’s and 80’s!
I digress…
Anyway, Grammy Night was always one of favorites because of the wacky fashions. You just never knew what you were going to see on a Grammy red carpet. While there were certainly a lot of ‘interesting’ looks Sunday night… (Madonna, Katy Perry, Paris Hilton), There were many stars that truly shined!
