Wayf Lace Top
If this top looks familiar it’s because we feature it fairly often. It’s just too good…like scream from the rooftops kind of good. We’re talking about the Wayf Emma Lace top. Erin has been rocking this top for over 5 years and we dipped into the photo archives to show you 4 of her favorite ways to style it. Collectively, just about everyone on the team owns this top and some of us in multiple colors (we see you, Joy!) It’s also a Busbee best-seller which means you all love it as much as we do.
It’s so beautiful, elegant, classic, and sophisticated. It comes with a built-in, removable camisole, has subtle puff sleeves and pretty button details at the cuff, and a tie at the back of the neck. It also has a mock neck that’s loose and low, so it won’t highlight any loose skin around the neck. Bottom line…it’s just a really pretty piece to have in your closet.
Wayf Lace Top & Trousers
In this first look, Erin styled the Wayf top with some Favorite Daughter trousers and Sam Edelman pumps for an office-appropriate or out-to-dinner look. You could also easily layer a blazer or jacket over the top as a 3rd layer into the fall.
Wayf Lace Top & Black Pants
Here you’ll see Erin styled the same top with flattering black pants and platform booties. She also swapped out the built-in cami for a black one to switch things up a bit. This would be a great date night look or party look. But, you could also wear this to the office depending on your office environment.
Wayf Lace Top & Joggers
Sticking with a black and white theme, in the next look, Erin styled our star-of-the-show Wayf top with some cool silky cargo joggers and black booties. She’s wearing a cropped white cami underneath to dial up the sexy just a bit, but you could always wear the built-in cami if that feels more comfortable for you. We love how Erin tucked her joggers into her boots for a cool, modern, and edgy juxtaposition to the feminine lace top.
Wayf Lace Top & Jeans
This last look is a throw-back of Erin styling the same Wayf top with a utility jacket, jeans, and wedges. This is a more casual way to wear the top and really highlights its versatility AND how the style of this top continues to stand the test of time. Just pair it with any stylish jeans and a 3rd layer that you love like a leather jacket, moto jacket, or even a blazer. To make it more casual, swap the heels for sneakers, loafers, or flats.
More Ways To Style This Versatile Top
- Wear it with a pencil skirt.
- With leather pants or a leather skirt for a party (or dare we say holiday) look!
- Try a denim mini, midi, or maxi skirt.
- With white pants or trousers for a monochromatic outfit.
- Mix it up with distressed or faded boyfriend jeans for a more casual and edgy look.

I own the blouse in cream and black both long sleeve and short sleeve and I have never worn any of them. So, I very much appreciate all of the wonderful ideas.

I have this blouse in the ivory and the pink. I wore the pink blouse with the same color pink wide leg pants! I thought it looked amazing as well as everyone else. I will most likely wear the ivory blouse with jeans.
