More About My Look
Jeans
First of all, there are SO many faux leather and ‘coated’ jeans out there, there is NO need to spend money on actual leather…
The faux versions look like the real deal!!
These “rocket” coated jeans by Citizens are one of my favorite pairs of jeans.
You may remember them from my “Best Selling & Favorite Jeans of the Year” Video?
Sweater
I bought this pom pom sweater by Topshop at Nordstrom and it sold out in days (of course)!
SO… I found it on Topshop, but it’s petite.
Here is another option by J Crew that is very similar.
Sunglasses
A quick note about these sunglasses…
They look very similar to the ‘of the moment’ Givenchy flat top shades,
but sticking with my moratorium on designer sunglasses, I found these on Amazon for ONLY $9.99!!
Yes, they have the proper UV protection.
The cherry red lipstick is called “Empress” by Milani.
This is the actual outfit I wore site-seeing in Tokyo, minus the shoes.
While we were walking around, I wore Uggs. They were comfy and kept my feet toasty warm.
You can see the other outfit I shot at this same location here.
For my other look, I just took off the sweater, and added a dress (that I had in my tote).
See…I’m keeping it real here too. Just like my NEW series on Instagram!

The Back Story
Can you believe this pictures were shot on the iPhone 7 Plus? I can’t. They are awesome!!
My husband took these shots, which is a rarity.
He agreed to snap the shots because he left my tripod in the taxi, and then felt guilty.
But, as we were wrapping up, our taxi driver appeared with the tripod.
It was AMAZING.
The driver walked all the way through the market, navigated a sea of tourists… and somehow found us.
I suppose we DID stand out as a family of blondes, but STILL… it was an incredible moment!!
Also incredible, when I looked up from our photo shoot and saw the kids playing BEHIND the fenced area.
BEHIND IT! (see the picture above) Mind you… we are at a Buddhist temple…not exactly a playground.
I was certain someone would come out screaming.
But, we somehow managed to escape chastisement.
