As excited as I am to see the return of the flares…
I also know they are slightly more complicated than the skinnies.
For example, with your skinny jeans…
You can throw on ankle boots with a long sweater,
And voila… you’re done!
With FLARED jeans,
You have to be aware of which pair will best suit your body.
If you are short-waisted, you may want to avoid high-rise flares, and opt instead for low or mid-rise.
If you are long-waisted, high-rise will be ideal.
Many of you also asked me about shoes.
If you tailor your jeans the right way, almost dusting the floor, the shoes will barely show.
Wear your wedges, chunky heel boots, or pointed toe pumps, whatever you feel most comfortable in.
If you want to wear flats, choose pointed toe flats.
In terms of what to wear on top, it’s all about creating balance and highlighting your waist.
Try a tucked in tee or cami with a blazer, a moto jacket, a boxy top, cropped sweater, blanket wrap, among other options.
