Casual Friday Office Outfit
Whether you’re working from home or going back into the office, this casual office outfit is for you! It’s perfect for Casual Friday. But it’s comfortable and stylish enough to wear when you’re working at home too. Even if it’s not this exact look, this formula for a casual Friday outfit will make getting dressed for work in the morning much easier.
If you’re looking for even more office outfits, I’m sharing SEVEN in this post.
Casual Office Outfit Formula
For a casual (but still appropriate) office outfit, this is all you need…a good pair of jeans, a chic blouse, and a blazer or elevated jacket. Yep, that’s it! There are some must-know tips for each piece though…
- Jeans – I suggest going with a dark wash, no rips or fading, and make sure the leg silhouette flatters your body (flared, skinny, straight, etc.)
- Blouse – My biggest tip is to make sure your blouse has an office-appropriate neckline. Your casual Friday blouse is a great time to show your personality. If you love bright colors, wear a gorgeous colorful blouse. If you love prints, wear your favorite printed top!
- Outerwear – The perfect way to finish off any outfit is with a stylish blazer or jacket. This is another area you have room to play. But I personally love a classic black blazer!
You will complete your look with your favorite heels or flats and your work bag, but those three main pieces are what will create the perfect casual office outfit!

Causal Friday Outfit
In my Casual Friday look, I’m wearing a blouse by IRO that has a high neckline and beautiful print. This blouse would also work with trousers and skirts because it’s very thin and easy to tuck in. I’m wearing it with flared jeans by Mother. These are the perfect length on me (I’m 5’4”) but they will be more cropped on taller women. Multiple Busbee team members bought these jeans, and they all love them! The fit is so good and I love the flattering, flared silhouette and frayed hem. I added my Balmain blazer for an even more polished look, but I could also go without it or swap for a different jacket. To complete the look, I’m wearing classic black pumps and a pearl statement necklace by Chanel but I linked a similar option above.

Love, love, lov,e your style and have purchased many items you’ve recommended. This post on casual Friday is quite dressy and very conservative. Manybe that’s the style trend but I don’t find it flattering. I also wish you could list some lower priced options, especially for good quality handbags.
I always try to have a mix of prices. I can do another workwear video or post that is more casual… sure! Great idea. Thanks, Heidi! Erin xo
