It’s been a LONG time since I’ve worked in an office, but I remember the monotony of wearing the same old, same old. You get B-O-R-E-D wearing black pants every day and crave ways to mix things up. At least I know I did.
I am thrilled to partner with Express to show you some modern, trendy and AFFORDABLE office outfit ideas to help you step up your workwear game!

Look #1 | All Green
Your co-workers will be green with envy when you walk into work in this gorgeous outfit. I love a monochromatic look, and one way to make it even more interesting is to vary the textures and tones. The faux leather green pencil skirt combined with a chunky, over-sized green sweater is modern and totally unexpected. Finishing off the look with a chic neutral like animal print pumps… is like the cherry on top of the style sundae.
This look is inspired by Duchess Meghan Markle. Remember she wore a leather pencil skirt and green blouse? If you don’t want to wear head-to-toe green, swap the green sweater for a cropped white cable-knit option like this.

Look #2 | Plaid Suit
This look is equally as unexpected and very chic… a plaid suit! But, this is not your traditional suit. The cropped, tapered pants are high waist with a tie, and the blazer is a longer boyfriend style with ruched, 3/4 sleeves. I created a subtle print mix with plaid and leopard print (pumps). If you like animal prints, you should check this post featuring a bunch of animal print options.
I finished off the office outfit with a stunning, white, wool coat.

Express
I have wanted to partner with Express for a LONG time, and I am finally doing it! It’s been a bucket list collaboration. I’ve been shopping there since my early 20’s. I remember my first suit from Express, an ivory silk, trumpet skirt with a matching zip up, fitted jacket. It was divine, and you know what…? I still own that suit all these years later! That’s one of the awesome things about Express. Their clothes are current and on trend, BUT they are high quality too, which is key.
Don’t forget Express carries petite and long or tall sizes too. HUGE thank you again to Express for sponsoring this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Thank you so much for stopping by…
