New York Fashion Week VLOG \\ BusbeeStyle TV

https://youtu.be/2GsJgNJZ3qk

Firstly, any excuse to go to NYC… I’m all over it. I lived there for a long time, and it still holds a VERY special place in my heart.

Secondly, I thought heading to NYFW, would be a great opportunity to network with other bloggers… And it WAS!
I really bonded with all the bloggers I traveled with: Style By Fluent, Style of Sam and The Middle Page Blog.
You’ll see all of these gorgeous, stylish ladies in the video above.

I also got to meet many bloggers I’ve been corresponding with via Instagram…. at the Reward Style party.
For those who don’t know, Reward Style is the company that helps top fashion and lifestyle bloggers with revenue generating links.
They get stores on board and negotiate rates. They are pretty selective about who they let into the fold.

I also did a bit of shopping and ate wonderful food in NYC.  I miss great food… the busiest restaurant in my small Texas town is Chili’s.

I went on this trip kid-free.  If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll recall the poop-tastrophe that happened at my house while I was away.
My daughter was quite upset at mommy for leaving, and she pooped in her pants while at the dinner table.
And, then proceeded to smear it everywhere, including the table, her face and clothes.
This is one of the great things about leaving home for a few days…
Even though it’s hard, and you miss your kids, Your husband and kids appreciate you a WHOLE lot more than they did before you left.

I hope you enjoy a glimpse at my trip (video above)

And shopping all of my looks (below).

Thank you SO much for stopping by!! Erin xo

I’m obsessed with this line now, Bec & Bridge. I loved this plunging burgundy dress….

Girl’s Night Out #1

I’m SO sad that I can’t find this romper anywhere!
It’s by Haute Hippie and I bought it on sale recently at Saks.

Here is a similar python maxi dress:

I really loved this combo of a long, sleeveless vest over the romper.

The vest offered a bit more coverage and cool factor.

Shopping Look

After a wardrobe malfunction at Bergdorfs (my romper zipper broke),
I decided to buy this Alexa Chung for AG dress. I’m glad I did.
I think it’s flattering and will be quite versatile.

I can really wear it just about anywhere, from grocery store to carpool to dinner.

Traveling Home Look

This is a new hotel and it’s SO fabulous.

Called NoMo Soho. If I come back next year, I will definitely look into staying here.

This is what I wore home (with my leather jacket over it).

The black t-shirt is very forgiving and comfortable.

The jeans are once again high-rise.
