The One and Only Palm Print…
One of these days I’ll stay at a One and Only resort. Not that I’m hinting or suggesting anything to my husband…just thinking and typing. 😉 Now, back to palm prints. I’m not a huge print person, but for some reason, the palm print speaks to me. I think it’s because it’s so tropical and exotic. Wearing it makes me feel like I’m on vacation, even if I’m not. I DID happen to wear a ton of palm prints during our recent, family trip to Hawaii, including a palm print dress, cover-up, and swimsuit. And, maybe my favorite palm print piece, is the sequin cocktail mini dress I wore to this year’s rewardStyle Conference! You can see everything I wore to this year’s conference here.
Option #1 | Palm Print Maxi Dress
DRESS | WEDGES | BAG | BRACELET
This palm print dress was one of my March Favorites. I bought it from a boutique in Telluride called Two Skirts. You can also grab it here. It’s a halter neck, palm print, maxi dress by Milly. There’s a modesty panel in the front that you can leave on, or unbutton and remove for a more dramatic plunging neckline. The dress was perfect for our trip to Hawaii! It could also be a special dress for a beach wedding or any upcoming trips you may have. Milly makes a matching swimsuit as well.
Tips For Wearing Prints
Prints can be tricky to wear. My fail safe, styling tip when wearing prints…pick one printed piece and keep everything else neutral. That means your shoes, handbag, jewelry, etc. should all be neutral or solid colors. You want to let the print really stand out. I also wanted to mention that you do NOT have to wear something just because it’s trending. If there’s a fashion trend that doesn’t appeal to you, or mesh with your personal style, feel free to just skip it!

Option #2 | Sequin Palm Print Dress
DRESS | SHOES | BAG | NECKLACE | RING | SUNGLASSES
I wore this sequin palm print dress to the rewardStyle Conference this year. You can see my full recap of the event here. This little mini dress is sexy and fun but still dressy enough to wear to nicer events. It’s hard to see them in photos, but the whole dress is covered in sequins. The back of this dress is pretty amazing too! If you have a summer wedding or any fun pool parties coming up, I would highly recommend this dress! It’s sold out most places, but still available in every size on Rachel Zoe’s site here. I’m wearing size 0 (normally a 2 for reference).
Option #3 | Palm Print Coverup
COVERUP | SIMILAR SUNGLASSES | FLIP FLOPS
I wore this coverup while we were in Hawaii and I just love it. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and it’s easy to wear from the beach to lunch or dinner. The way it flows when you move… is so elegant.
Option #4 | Palm Print Swimsuit
SWIMSUIT | SIMILAR SUNGLASSES | EARRINGS
You’ve seen me talk about this swimsuit before, but I wanted to include it in this post to show a great palm print option that’s perfect for your next beach vacation or pool day! This tropical print swimsuit by La Blanca is the perfect mix of whimsy and sophistication. You can wear it as a deep v, plunging suit (like I am above), or cross the straps and wear as a halter neck suit. You all know how much I love a multi-functional piece!

Hi Erin,
Have you ever done a try on episode from direct sales collections, Worth, Etcetera, Carlisle?
Thanks and love the videos,
Aimee
I talked to a couple of people about promoting lines like this, but they kind of don’t know what to do with me because I’m not interested in becoming a sales person for them. Thanks, Aimee! Erin xo
