Fashion Tag | Ride or Die

Remember the Ride or Die tag I did featuring all of my favorite beauty products? Well, I thought it made sense to also do this for clothing.  I hope to get other YouTubers to jump on this bandwagon because I would LOVE to see what people pick! But, there is a LOT of ground to cover and I want to dive straight in…
So, I present my “Ride or Die” or favorite fashion picks!

1) Tee Shirt

These Madewell tees are my favorite because they are soft. They wash very well. They are roomy, but slightly tapered towards your body… And, they have a slight vintage look without being see-through.  It’s a one-and-done piece.

2) White Tee

I LOVE this Free People tee that I featured on the blog. It has really cool seaming detail and it is long so you can leave it out and cover your bum, or tuck it in. It also has a real vintage quality, which I like, but that means you have to wear a white tank underneath.

3) Tank Tops

The target ribbed tanks are awesome. I have had some of mine for years. I literally wear them until I start to see holes. The straps are thin and cut in a little from the shoulders, which gives them a more youthful, modern look. But, wide enough to cover most bra straps.

4) Skinny Jeans

My “Rocket” jeans by Citizens of Humanity are my all-time favorites! I have them in blue, slightly distressedCropped with an undone hem And, a coated, faux black leather pair. They are incredibly high rise, flattering and modern.

5) Flared Jeans

J Brand just gets flared jeans. I never met a pair of J Brand flares, I didn’t like. I own several pairs and my go-to pair is my “Maria” flares. Here is a cool velvet pair.

6) Boots

I love my over-the-knee black suede boots. They are old and no longer available, but I found a VERY similar pair here.

7) Booties

You will recall seeing these booties in some of my recent blog posts. My Vince Camuto peep-toe booties are my favorites at the moment. I think they are SOOOO comfortable. Easy to get on and off. And, I love the side cutout under the ankle bone.

8) Pumps

I love the wide toe bed in these pointed-toe pumps by Louise et Cie. Pointed toe pumps are sometimes challenging because of how narrow they often are. These are wider in the front, which allows for more room and more comfort.

Not sure how this is possible, but on Amazon you can get these for a little over $20?

9) Flats

The quest continues…. The find fashionable and super comfortable flats. My standby pair is always the “Felicia” by Sam Edelman There is a similar pointed toe version now too.

10) Wool Coat – High-End

Mackage (like package) coats are still my all-time favorites. The detail and quality is unparalleled in my opinion.

11) Wool Coat – More Affordable

I am a BIG fan of the Guess boucle coats. I own both pink and wine They are gorgeous coats and were one of my top sellers last year.

12) Moto Jacket

I FOUND my leather jacket! It was restocked. That’s the good news. The bad news is…that puppy is expensive! I also love this much more affordable suede jacket.

13) Everyday Handbag

This will not shock you. Cause maybe I’ve mentioned it before… 😉 It’s the Jetsetter. The Jetsetter is a 3-in-1 bag: backpack, cross-body and satchel.

Shop Jetsetter bags here.

14) Clutch

I am loving the wristlet functionality of my Valentino clutch. It allows you to go out on the town, hands-free, without worry of losing your expensive bag, phone, etc. Here is a black wristlet clutch for less.

15) Blazer

This was a TOUGH one because I am a jacket/blazer girl. The top spot is currently held by Veronica Beard blazers. These blazers have dickeys that zip in or out. Change the dickey and change the jacket. Zip it out, and wear a classic, beautifully tailored jacket.

Shop more Veronica Beard blazers here.

16) Activewear

The exercise pants I would wear every single day if I did laundry every day would be… My cropped leggings by Alala. The fabric sucks everything in, but somehow still keeps you cool.

17) Loungewear

This was a close one between my Honeydew joggers and my Monrow sweats. Monrow won because the pants are slightly more fitted.
