What I Wore
What I Wore | New York Fashion Week 2017
In the Video above, I walk you through the outfits I wore (and explain why I picked the looks)…
During my VERY quick trip to NYC for New York Fashion Week.
I went with my husband.
All of my outfits are below. Keep scrolling to see them.
Look #1 | Floral Dress
About the Look
I did a whole post about this look that I shot during fashion week.
You can read that here.
I love versatile pieces that you can wear in many ways.
This dress can be wore alone, or layered over a blouse like I did above to stay warm.
I wore a bow neck blouse under the dress and a leather moto jacket over it.
The dress is quite pricey, so I gave you several, more affordable, dark floral print dress options here.

About the Look
There is no sense sacrificing warmth for style.
That’s why I love to layer up!
I have on a VERY warm sweater over a tank.
A wool coat, faux fur wrap and hat.
I was toasty warm!
Socks also add a lot of warmth, which is why I’m wearing booties instead of pumps.

About the Look
I wore this to the Veronica Beard presentation.
This was my first “presentation.”
I’m not going to lie, it was kinda weird.
You basically congregate in a crowded room, and stare at live mannequins.
(See picture above)
However, the clothes were GORGEOUS.
I love the Veronicas!
(They are sisters-in-law and they are both named, Veronica Beard!)Â

A few Veronica Beard pieces on sale here.
The choker I’m wearing is not available, but I found this gorgeous piece on SALE!

About the Look
I wore this to a couple of meetings.
I wanted to be comfortable, warm and effortless (or seemingly effortless).
I really love the unconventional layered look.
I layered my cami OVER the blouse, instead of under.
It gives body definition, added warmth and an edgier look.
These earrings by Elizabeth Cole add so much pop to the look!
I found a bunch of Elizabeth Cole Jewelry on SALE at Gilt here.
There are also pieces for sale at Banana Republic.

About the Look
This was my Valentine’s dinner look.
I went for edgy elegance and as always a mix of fashion and function.
The booties are comfortable and they allowed me to wear socks to keep my feet warm.
The coat is chic, makes a statement and is WARM.
My earrings adding some major drama.
The clutch with the wristlet stays on my wrist and enables me to be hands free if I need to be.
I pulled my hair into two knots because it was looking kinda shaggy from being out all day in the wind and weather.
We ate at Fred’s Restaurant in Barney’s.
Dinner was delicious!
Here are some FAUX FUR coat options.
BTW, I FOUND these EXACT high-rise jeans!!
I wear them ALL the time!! See here and here.

About the Look
It’s REALLY nice to have cute pajamas when you are on a trip.
I bought these for my recent conference in Palm Springs.
(See outfits from conference here, here and here.)
I plan to travel with these jammies quite a bit.
They don’t take up much room in your suitcase.
They are also super cute…soft and comfy!
Here are some highly rated, prime eligible pajama sets under $50!
