Square Toe Booties!
Although pointed-toe shoes and boots are still going VERY strong…there’s a new trend in town… Square toe shoes! Isn’t fashion SO fun? Right now, you can wear rounded, almond, pointed AND square toe shoes. Shoes are kind of like jeans, the trends are all over the place and that means there is something for everyone! As always, don’t feel like you need to try a trend. You should only wear things you feel comfortable and confident in. Below, I’m sharing a new pair of Vince Camuto square toe booties that you can also WIN. These booties are part of the 12 Days of Giveaways! Plus a few more popular toe shapes you might see in boots and booties this fall/winter.

Dannia Square-Toe Bootie
I’m in love with these booties! They’re gorgeous patent leather, have the chic and trendy square toe, and a sexy high heel (3.5”). The side zip makes it easy to take them off and on. Plus, they’re super comfortable! They also come in light neutral snake print and darker burgundy/black snake print.

How To Style Square Toe Booties
Just because the booties have a trendy new toe shape doesn’t mean they’re difficult to style! As you can see above, I styled the booties two ways…
In the first look, I’m wearing the booties with a black satin midi skirt, white tee, and leather blazer. This is a casual, chic look you could wear to lunch/dinner or running around town.
In the second look, I styled it with black jeans and my favorite Veronica Beard blazer. The removable dickey I’m wearing in the blazer is a cool leopard hoodie puffer that’s going to be a heavy hitter this season!

More Common Boot Toe Shapes
There are TONS of shoe styles out there that it’s impossible to cover every single one. But I wanted to touch on a couple of popular ones. Knowing the toe shape of your shoes can actually be a big advantage when you’re shopping. Think about what your most comfortable shoes are, what kind of toe shape they have, and go buy more of those! If you have shoes that hurt around your toes, that toe style might not be the best for you! Knowledge is power… and will make your shopping experience easier!
Round toe shoes are probably the most classic and pretty self-explanatory. They are rounded in the front.
Almond toe is a really pretty toe shape. I like to think of it as a modified round toe. The front of the shoe literally looks like an almond. The boots above are almond toe. I shared how to style those in this post.
Pointed toe shoes are my favorite because they elongate your legs. They have a point at the top that creates a longer line. These might be the hardest on your feet, though.
Square toe shoes are more squared off at the front.
Note: Within each of these are subcategories. There are elongated pointed toes, narrow tapered toes, etc.

The white tshirt you’re wearing in the boot post, did you twist tie it the shirt or is that a different white tshirt?
Ok, now I really admit that bare boots with clothes are really good. I didn’t think it was before. I suddenly felt that this dress is difficult to match, but it has an inexplicable sense of matching with bare boots.
