Affordable Fall Fashion Staples
#1) Chic Blazer
If you don’t already have a tailored blazer in your closet, now’s the time! There are so many options at every price point now and you really can get a high-quality tailored blazer for a super affordable price. This Quince blazer (on the left) is under $90 and it’s SO good. It’s beautiful, tailored, cinches in at the waist, high-quality, and the gold buttons look very luxe. When you need a piece that will really elevate an outfit, this blazer will be your go-to. It also has zip-in/out insert options. It looks similar to the Veronica Beard blazer which is pictured on the right) for comparison. If a blazer with bold gold buttons doesn’t suit your personal style, this one is another fabulous, high-quality option.
Erin styled the blazer with jeans and a tee just to show you how impactful a tailored blazer can be! You can be wearing the most casual outfit and throwing on a blazer will instantly elevate your look.
#2 | Casual Black Booties
Another must-have wardrobe essential for fall… casual black booties. Black is a great go-to because it is the most versatile, wearable color. It will literally go with everything. These Dolce Vita Chelsea booties are great because they have block heels which make them easier to walk in. This particular pair has an elongating, flattering pointed toe (but not too narrow) and a comfortable and manageable 2-inch block heel.
You can wear these booties with jeans and a blazer for an elevated casual look like Erin did. Or style them with a dress or skirt for a chic and casual fall look. If you can find a pair of casual black booties you really love, you’ll be able to wear them with almost everything in your closet! Versatility is really the name of the game.
#3) Cashmere Turtleneck Sweater
You might be thinking how in the heck is a cashmere sweater considered affordable? Well, we were wondering that too, but Erin couldn’t say enough about the high quality of this cashmere turtleneck by Quince. And it’s only $90 yet feels and looks so luxe! A turtleneck sweater is classic and timeless making it a versatile, essential closet must-have. Turtlenecks can be tricky because you don’t want them to highlight your chin too much. This turtleneck has a little room in the neck and can even be folded inward to avoid accentuating right under that jawline (such a great tip!)
Erin is wearing the color Charcoal, but it comes in a bunch of great color options. She styled it with a pair of chic black trousers, but you could easily make this turtleneck more casual with a pair of jeans too. Note on sizing: If you want a looser fit, go with your regular size. If you want a more slim, tailored fit then size down.

Hi! Wondering how Erin cinches her sleeves on blazers (like the cropped one above). I’m sure she’s covered it somewhere, if so, can you direct me?
Hi Stacy! Erin has a video on how to keep your blazer sleeves up with a cool hair tie hack here: https://youtu.be/-yw6utcUkcE?si=oCxrrKWKvANeUAMm&t=189. With this blazer she just pushed them up and because of the faux leather material they stayed in place. Let us know if you have any other questions and thanks so much for your support! ~Team Busbee
