Are you feeling ready for sweater season…but not quite ready for those heavy, bulky, super warm sweaters? Well, do we have the best, lightweight designer sweater dupes for you! Some of the most elegant and easy-to-style sweaters are pre-layered, twofer sweaters. They effortlessly create a polished layered look with a peek of white shirttail, collar, and/or cuffs popping through. AND, no tucking, fussing, or layering is actually required! They are SO elevated yet easy to wear. We found 2 dupes for Erin’s favorite twofers that were just too good not to share. As we easssse into sweater weather, one of these versatile staples will be your new, no-effort, outfit-making go-to!
Speaking of sweaters, have you checked out our Fall Capsule post yet? You’ll find the BEST fall tops, sweaters, jeans and so much more!
Designer Sweater Dupes
Turtleneck Layered Sweater
You need to get ready in a pinch. You want to look elevated and put together, but you have ZERO time… this is your go-to sweater. On the left, Erin is wearing a Brochu Walker sweater that’s pretty pricey. We love how stylish the white shirt tail and cuffs look peeking out of the hem and sleeves. So chic, elevated and cool, right? On the right, for a fraction of the price, a similar sweater by Karen Kane gives you that same layered look for under $150. You can wear it casually with jeans or dress it up with black pants for the office. One and done…you gotta love it!
Mixed Media Layered Sweater
Maybe you love the idea of the last sweater but prefer a V-neck over a turtleneck. On the left, Erin is wearing a C By Bloomingdale’s cashmere pre-layered sweater from last year, which is a favorite she reaches for all.the.time. Fun fact, at the time of writing this post, the cashmere sweater is ON-SALE for under $100! On the right, the Karen Kane mixed media sweater has the same white spread collar and hem. The exposed seams and ribbed bottom are interesting details that give it an elevated and expensive look! Since it’s not cashmere, it will be less warm than the Bloomingdale’s version, which might work better for your climate, if you run hot, or if you’re experiencing hot flashes. It comes in 3 colors: a pretty Sand color, Charcoal Gray and an on-trend Chocolate Brown. Both sweaters are truly gorgeous options!
Both of these sweaters are great wardrobe staples you’ll reach for over and over and over again!
What’s the temp like where you live? Is it still pretty warm or starting to get cool or even cold? Let us know in the comments below. Erin woke up to snow on the ground in Telluride this week 😲 so sweater weather has officially arrived for some of us!
