Boyfriend Jeans For Less

On the left, Erin is wearing a pair of high-waisted distressed boyfriend jeans by R13. They’re 100% cotton and have a 27” inseam which is great for petite women. The for less pair on the right by Pistola is also high rise and has similar (minimal) distressing with an inseam of 26”. They have the same slouchy fit with very little stretch because they are 100% cotton. Why are we loving slouchy jeans and reaching for them more often?

  1. Boyfriend jeans have a relaxed fit and are just more comfortable than tight, slim-fit, or skinny jeans.
  2. They are very on-trend and give an effortless vibe we love.
  3. Because the fit is more forgiving, they are very flattering on most body types!

Feminine Top For $130

Erin paired her boyfriend jeans with a super feminine and lightweight top by L’Agence. It has the prettiest lace cuffs and covered buttons up the front (runs one size large). The top on the right from Banana Republic has billowy sleeves, long cuffs, similar covered buttons, and the most delicate pintucks all over. The details AND the draping are just gorgeous! It’s made of ramie cotton, so it’s a bit more lightweight than the L’Agence top and will layer beautifully under a jacket.  These super feminine tops paired with the edgy boyfriend jeans make for a very cool and fresh look.

Brown Booties On-Sale

It’s still pretty chilly in Colorado so Erin is wearing her boyfriend jeans with a pair of brown booties. The exact pair is sold out but we linked a similar pair and they are on sale for under $100. This outfit would also look great with sandals, strappy heels, pumps, or flats.

    • Erin Busbee says:

Hi Angela! A think a yellow blazer is perfect for a spring shower event! I’d try it on with a sundress or white pants and a simple top – maybe a floral or striped pattern? I think this is a great piece to brighten up any spring outfit. You can also search the phrase “Women’s Yellow Blazer Outfit” on Pinterest for lots more visual inspiration as well. Hope this helps! ~Team Busbee

  3. Pam Lynch says:

Hi- can you tell me what size Erin wears in the R13 boyfriend jeans? I normally wear 26 in jeans except Moussy, and one site says the R13 ones run big and to order down. Other sites offer no reviews. Help!
I want to order asap, but would appreciate some advice.
    Thanks

    • Susan Harold says:

Hi Pam, thanks for your note! Erin purchased her regular size in the R13 jeans (did not size up or down) for that slouchy, boyfriend fit. Enjoy your day! ~Team Busbee
