Cool & Casual Outfit For Less
For this week’s For Less Friday post, we want to focus on a chic but casual everyday outfit. Something that’s easy to wear and doesn’t require a ton of thought, but still looks cool and pulled together. Don’t you just love when you can throw on an outfit with ease (no fuss!) but still look really fashionable? Jeans are always a great go-to for casual looks, and may be what you tend to reach for too. But we wanted to offer up another option that will function just like jeans would in your wardrobe. Each of these pieces is a wardrobe basic with some not-so-basic details that give the outfit interest…and a little edge too!
In case you’ve missed any of our previous For Less Friday posts, including a gorgeous Zimmermann dress and Rag & Bone jeans you can find them all here.

Paige Joggers For Less
If you’re a denim lover like Erin, you might have several pairs in your closet already. What’s so cool about these joggers is that they’re comfy and easy to style just like denim, but they’re a little different and even a little unexpected. The Paige joggers on the left and the Banana Republic utility joggers on the right are made of nearly identical fabrics. Both have a little stretch to them ? What we love about both is their versatility. But if you are looking for various colors, lengths (short and tall), and fits (regular and petite) the Banana Republic version has a ton of options. These would look so cute with sneakers and a sweatshirt for running errands, carpooling, a coffee date, etc. Or wear them with espadrille wedges to take it up a notch.
Both pairs have a button front, zippered elastic cuff (elevated detail!), and front and back pockets for the edgy utility look. These would be especially great for petite women or if you are on the shorter side (Erin is 5’4”). Endless styling options…white tops, black tops, sweaters, tanks, and t-shirts. AND a great transitional piece for spring.
R13 Gathered Hem Shirt For Less
The R13 white button-up, gathered hem top Erin is wearing is a bit cropped (but not overly so) as is the one by Everlane on the right. Both are perfect for all your high-waisted jeans and pants. Cropped shirts and tops are very on-trend right now, but this is an easy way to wear that trend without showing skin at your midsection. The fit on both is a little oversized, and the Everlane top is under $90. We also love this one which has a more exaggerated bubble with a drawstring. Rolling up the sleeves on your button-down will give you that effortless casual look. A white button-down is a wardrobe staple every woman needs in her closet. This would be a fresh option if yours is looking a little yellowed or worse for the wear…it happens!

See by Chloe Wedges For Less
The leather wedges on the right by Franco Sarto have a 3” heel with just over 1” platform which is a pretty ideal height for comfort. We love the See by Chloe wedges on the left for their versatility. They also have an ankle strap that makes you feel secure with any heel height. So we were so happy to find something similar for you! The cognac color is a great neutral.
Paco Rabanne Necklace For Less
If you’ve been around for a while, you probably recognize the Paco Rabanne necklace Erin is wearing in the photo above. It’s a chunky gold link statement necklace that she wears with everything from shorts and tees to super dressy outfits…proving special pieces don’t need to be saved for “special” occasions! The look for less option on the right is from Express and also makes a statement. Having a piece like this in your jewelry collection can take a basic t-shirt and rev it up to create a very cool, chic, and, “Wow, she has it going on!” kind of look.
On-Trend Fendi Sunglasses For Less
To finish off her look, Erin added a pair of flat-top, aviator-style Fendi sunglasses. So chic! But we get it, designer sunglasses come with that designer price tag. The for less option by Quay also has 100% UV protection (important!), aviator-style lenses, and the same cool flat top. Quay is a sunglasses brand Erin owns and loves…great quality, affordable, and fashion-forward designs. You can shop more Quay sunglasses here.
