Dark wash skinny jeans are one of the most important wardrobe basics. (If you don’t know what the basics are, be sure to download my FREE wardrobe basics checklists here) These high waisted skinny jeans are not only the perfect wash (dark, no fading, or contrasting stitching) they are also ridiculously comfortable! That’s the special feature!! Express’ Luxe Comfort Knit denim is stretchy, retains its shape, but is also SOOOO soft. I’ve never felt denim like this before and that’s saying a lot since I own way too many pairs of jeans. In my defense, it IS my business, and I DO wear jeans everyday. 😉
These jeans also come in various hemline lengths, from short to regular to long. I’m wearing a size 2 in the Short length. I’m 5’4” for reference.
Sequin Tee
I styled the jeans with this super chic sequin short sleeve top and luxe blazer. This top is amazing. I wore it last night to dinner with friends and it is definitely a standout piece. I love how it’s casual but the subtle sequins elevate the tee, making it dressier.
Black Blazer
I love a gorgeous blazer and this one looks so luxe and sophisticated. It really looks quite similar to my $2,000+ Balmain blazer. Express does an incredible job of making luxe-looking blazers for less. Remember the white one I featured here?

Wider leg styles are getting more and more popular…and I’m excited for the change! If you’re not a skinny jeans lover, these high-rise flare jeans are for you. They’re from the same Luxe Comfort Collection so the denim is super soft, comfortable, and stretchy.
I have them paired with the same fun sequin top and clear studded sandals. I’d usually order flare jeans in regular length so I can wear them with heels but I got these in a 2 Short so I could wear them casually with FLATS. It’s actually quite liberating and exciting. It’s the little things… right? They also come in long and regular. This is a super easy summer look to wear to lunch, running earrings, or working from home.
