Yes! You CAN Wear Jeans For The Holidays!

For obvious reasons, holiday dressing will definitely be more casual this year. But, just because we are home bound or relegated to small gatherings doesn’t mean we can’t look super glam!!  I don’t know about you, but I feel SO MUCH BETTER when I throw on some makeup and wear a super cute outfit. I think you should have the same strategy for your holiday outfits… Think glam and festive, but also comfy and casual.

I strategically selected stylish tops below that you can easily pair with jeans. I think jeans are the key this year and how you can feel ‘dressed up’ but not too done. Jeans give everything a more casual feel.

Look #1 | ASTR The Label Bodysuit

This option is probably the sexiest and most risqué! But I LOVE it! I put this on and my husband was like, “Holy cow.” So, if you want to give your husband a little thrill… throw this top on!  This bodysuit has fun puff sleeves and a super sexy plunge neckline. The beauty of a bodysuit is that there’s no bunching in your jeans or riding up your back! You don’t have to wear a bra with this but if you don’t feel comfortable with that, try a plunge bra or pasties.

When wearing jeans for the holidays, keep it classic with a pair of dark wash skinny jeans like the pair I’m wearing by L’Agence. Wearing this basic will make it easier to style and the darker wash is slimming and more streamlined. My boots are a gorgeous snake-embossed leather. They have a pointed toe and stiletto heel. The heel is 3.5” but still very manageable and comfortable (for heels)! I can easily entertain at home while wearing these boots. No problem!

Look #2 | Chelsea28 Sequin Halter Top

Why not add a little SPARKLE…with this gorgeous sequin halter top! I love the high neck, but it’s still so sexy with the bare arms and shoulders.  If it’s cold where you live, you can throw on a jacket or coat over this top while outside. And… this is reasonably priced at $69! I styled it with the same L’Agence jeans and Schutz boots.

Look #3 | Jonathan Simkhai Corset Top

I mean… GRACE KELLY would wear this top…that’s how gorgeous it is!! This is my favorite look for sure. This corset top is gorgeous. Remember I said I would try the corset trend?? Well, here you go. This top is both sexy and sophisticated. The corset adds edge to the uber feminine lace and peplum hem.

I’m wearing the same jeans from the first two looks but swapped out the boots for pumps. See how versatile your dark wash skinny jeans can be??  These are the Jimmy Choo Romy pumps that I’ve had for years…they’re my favorite black pumps, but pricey. This pair is another great option for less.

Look #4 | Gibson Velvet Top

This velvet top is the most modest and casual but still looks super chic and luxe. It has pretty ruffle details around the neck and sleeves. It’s stretchy, comfortable, can be worn untucked, tucked, or front tucked. It’s perfect with jeans! I paired it with pumps, but you could wear boots or booties. It also comes in black, navy, and burgundy.
