Matching Skirt Set
Do you want to know how to put together the easiest, most flattering and chic outfit at any age? Wear a matching set. Yes, it’s that simple. Every season, I pore over fashion runways to share the most wearable trends. I shared the matching set trend back in 2020. Well, many things over the last two years have been uncertain, but one thing is for sure…the matching set is not going anywhere! The matching set is now a wardrobe must-have. If you don’t have a matching set for this winter, I’m sharing one that I know you will LOVE!
The Matching Set
The wonderful thing about today’s matching sets is they are SO simple and yet SO stylish! Recently, I was searching for a matching set that would keep me warm, but also help me feel elegant, and sophisticated I also wanted a set that I could easily wear as separates (a key part to finding the perfect set!). Enter…this gorgeous Tory Burch sweater and skirt set! Keep scrolling…

Stunning Desert Location
Before I dive into the details of this outfit, I wanted to share a little bit more about this unique location. This is Cibolo Creek Ranch in West Texas, a resort ranch (30,000 acres) where Chris and I got married. Isn’t it amazing? Who else loves the desert?

Tory Burch Set
This is a set you’ll want to wear again and again and again. It’s just absolutely divine. First, let’s talk about this skirt… the midi length is perfect. Especially for anyone who prefers more leg coverage (I’m 5’4” for reference). There’s a zipper in the back. But the fabric is pretty stretchy so you don’t need to use it. I love the dark brown panel at the waist that gives a slimming effect and creates / defines the waist. I also love the colors, deep brown and white, a combo I can definitely wear into spring too. Longer skirts are not only on trend, they are so flattering and sophisticated….and they keep you warmer!
The matching sweater is really cool and has an avant-garde feel because of the way it’s shaped. It has a mock neck, dolman sleeves, a crop length, and has super flattering ribbing along the body and arms. It’s thick enough to keep you warm. But thin enough to layer underneath jackets and coats.
I’m sharing some additional outfit ideas and ways I’ve styled both pieces separately below…

I like the winter, white outfit! I like off-white for me (I’m blonde and 61) but it looks so simple and clean! One more thing?–the first two paragraphs of the post have two typos. I know–picky.
Thanks so much, Cheryl! Glad you enjoyed the post and love winter white outfits as much as we do! ~Team Busbee
