My FAVORITE Jackets from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!
I LOVE jackets. It’s kind of a problem. I have more jackets and coats than anything else. I guess it’s a good thing we live in Colorado so I can really enjoy them. The jacket is the 3rd layer that I always talk about that can totally pull your whole look together AND slim your midsection, hips, and butt.
I wanted to share my favorite jackets from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this year! This is a great sale to get some fun coats and jackets but, don’t forget your BASICS. There are a ton of basics in the sale that are really terrific. They might not be as exciting, but they are actually much more important to your wardrobe. The jackets I’m featuring below are my favorites and will definitely play a big role in my fall wardrobe!
*Note: This is a highly shopped sale so if something is sold out or you don’t see your size, make sure you check back later!
Find everything you need to know about the sale here. Including my picks in 25+ categories to make it easier for YOU to shop!

Green Leathery Goodness
This green BB Dakota faux leather blazer is gorgeous, and the fit is SO good. I love this green color for fall but it also comes in cognac. I went with an XS for a slightly less oversized fit but it’s definitely more of a relaxed fit blazer. Wear it with jeans, a tee, and sneakers for a ‘cool mom’ look this fall! See how I styled it in the NSale Outfits post linked above…
If you still need to check off a basic leather jacket from your wardrobe basics checklist, this jacket is a great option! It’s super high quality, has minimal hardware, and the fit is great!
If you already have your basics covered and want to add another leather jacket that’s just a little different, try this gorgeous gray AllSaints jacket. AllSaints has leather jackets in the sale every year and they’re always SO good. The color of this one is just so chic, unique, and perfect for lightening up a dark fall/winter wardrobe. But it also comes in black and burgundy.
BlankNYC is another brand that always has leather moto jackets in the NSale each year. They also always have a suede moto jacket, but each year the colors change. This year it comes in this cool grayish color called Rock The Boat and a rust color called Sun Valley.
Denise tried this blazer on when she went to her local Nordstrom and it’s beautiful! You can see her wearing it in the NSale Outfits post linked above. The colors, material, and fit are perfect.
You can’t go wrong with a classic, neutral plaid blazer. This A.L.C plaid blazer is super high-quality and I love the hefty gold buttons. It’s a longer length, which will make it easier to style casually, but it would be a beautiful fall workwear piece too.
Are you tired of hearing me talk about wardrobe basics yet?? If you still need to check off a basic black blazer from your wardrobe basics checklist, this blazer is a great option! It’s super high quality, the scuba material means it has a good weight and won’t wrinkle, and the fit is great! It keeps going in and out of stock so if you see it in your size, grab it. If not, I linked another similar option you’ll love.
They did not have this Veronica Beard blazer in the store I was shopping in, but Denise was able to snag one… How gorgeous is this blue?! It looks SO good with denim and will be a go-to this fall. The shoulders on this blazer run a little tight at first but as you wear it, they start to loosen up. See how Denise styled it in the NSale Outfits post linked above…
This L’Agence jacket is SO cool! I love the beautiful green color and overall masculine feel of it. You don’t see very many leather jackets with these gold buttons and I think it’s such a chic touch. It’s pricey but it’ll be one of those investment pieces you’ll have in your closet for years and years.
This puffer jacket reminds me so much of one I own by SAM but at a fraction of the price. The color is a beautiful contrast to the normal black and gray puffers you see during the winter. And I LOVE the faux fur and faux suede combo!

Sadly Erin – the lovely Olive trench – sold out. The great camo wedges sold out – just very sporatic sizes available – usually the very small sizes (size 5 shoes for example and the larger coats: XL for example). The average gal will not be able to buy these things. I’m over the Nordstrom sale. It was poorly planned. Day one of the card sale you could hardly get online to place an order and when you could it was gone. Who wants to buy the ‘second string’ of products – the leftovers… Even on sale- not me.
What size did you get in the blank NYC jacket? I’ll keep an eye out for restocks or after the sale is over.
I tried on the Mackage moto jacket in black when I was in the store and it is SUPER cute and very chic. It’s cute in the photo, but even cuter in person. The collar is unique and the quality of the leather and hardware are very high. It just seems to be a cut above most of the other moto jackets I’ve seen. Of ourse, with a higher quality comes a higher price but if you are able and willing to pay the price, I think this jacket is worth it. I am 5’9″ and 140 lbs. I normally go between a medium and large and I tried on the medium which fit well with plenty of room.
EXCELLENT feedback! Thanks so much, Chris!! Mackage is always a little extra special… (I own about 4 of their coats). Erin xo
Wow I love them ALL! Looks like it’s time for more shopping
. Love the pictures below.. So sweet. Your Daughter is looking more and more like you. So Beautiful! Xo
