Transitional Sweater
This Wayf ribbed sweater is perfect for fall and beyond. The wrap front is super flattering for most body types including women with a larger bust size. The v-neckline and tie at the waist help create a slimming effect. And, the slight blouson sleeves with the thick ribbed cuff are modern and on-trend. It does run large, so I recommend sizing down one size unless you prefer a roomy fit.
I first tried these on during the NSale and loved just how comfy they were. They have a chunky sole, great tread, and a very small 1.5” heel with a 1” platform. You can style these with jeans, wear them under trousers (thinking of those that commute to an office!) or with a skirt or dress to add a little edge to your look. They have a convenient side zip for easy on/off and they’re hardy without being overly clunky. They’re also currently on sale for $60 which is a great value for a leather, water-resistant boot!
This sleeveless sweater by Paige is that layering piece you never knew you needed. It's wonderful on its own with the pretty ruffles at the shoulders but you can also layer it under blazers and jackets. It's one of those elevated basics I'm talking about all.the.time that make it SO much easier to get dressed each day.
These AllSaints cargo joggers are SO cool! I love the super lightweight, cool-to-the-touch fabric. The cargo details make these an edgy piece you can pair with feminine pieces like I did in the picture above for a fun juxtaposition. They also fit and feel really nice and the length is perfect for me (I'm 5'4"). They keep going in and out of stock so if you see them in your size, grab them! I also linked another favorite pair of cargo joggers if your size isn't available.
Not everyone loves a pair of structured denim. Sometimes a little stretch can be a good thing! This pair of Pistola straight-leg jeans are SO good…just trust me. If you’re on the hunt for affordable versatile jeans, these Pistola jeans are IT. They have a classic leg silhouette, dark wash, very minimal distressing, and the fit is lovely. They are also a Team Busbee favorite.
