The Sure Fire Way to Get that Layered Necklace Look Right!

Without The Stress or Tangling!

You all know exactly what I’m talking about. You put three pretty necklaces on that layer beautifully together. Then within ten minutes, they’re tangled together, in your hair, or not sitting where they’re supposed to be. Not to mention, it takes you a solid 5 minutes to clasp all three necklaces. Well…I have a solution. Get a multi-strand, pre-layered necklace! These pre-layered options make your flawless layered look WAY easier!!

Necklace #1

A necklace like this is a dummy-proof way to get the layered necklace look right! When I look for layered necklaces I like to find ones that are a little daintier so they don’t overpower the outfit. This particular necklace has three chains with gorgeous star details. The length is perfect and it lies beautifully. Oh, and this necklace is ONLY $8!!

The Look

Now onto the outfit! I’m wearing a really chic black off the shoulder top by Arizona. The neckline makes this top the perfect mix of sophisticated and sexy! If you want a little more coverage you can throw on a jacket. I’m wearing a gray knit blazer by Worthington. Do you remember this knit jacket from one of my very first JCPenney videos?? I am SO excited it is back in stock!! You can watch that video here. It’s a great, versatile piece for fall and winter. It’s soft, lightweight, and perhaps more importantly, won’t wrinkle. Plus, it layers well over tops and sweaters. I paired the jacket and tee with some classic dark wash skinny jeans by Levi’s. They’re comfortable and high waist to keep everything sucked in! To finish off the look, I’m wearing some shiny, croc-embossed black booties.

Necklace #2

Sometimes more IS better! I added another layered necklace to the first one I showed you and I think this looks gorgeous. The Mr. T look is back!! 😉 I’m only half kidding. Let’s call it the dainty Mr. T look. The second necklace would be just beautiful on its own. It has two coin pendants and a shorter chain.  If you wear your multi-strand necklaces this way, you do run the risk of them getting a little tangled. But it’s not nearly as bad as the alternative!

You can grab both necklaces for under $20!! Incredible, right?

The Look

This look is basically the same but I ditched the blazer and added some fun shoes. I’m wearing the same sexy off the shoulder top with skinny jeans. But, I paired these pieces with some fun Valentino-like studded sandals! They’re really cute, comfortable, and come in two other colors.
