Plus Size Brands & Retailers for Curvy Body Types
I hear it all the time from plus-size readers and viewers, I wish designers made that in my size. I hear and feel the frustration. Just because you are curvy, doesn’t mean you can’t look modern and stylish! And, the good news is… there are a growing number of plus-size options out there. Today, I want to share my TOP 5 favorite brands for plus-sized women so you have a trusted resource you can turn to.
By the way, many of you have extra style questions that you need answers to… you might consider joining the Busbee Style HIVE where you’ll get direct and fast answers from your style-conscious peers and my team.
#1 | Eloquii
Eloquii has a wide variety of clothing options for curvy women. They have great workwear options. But also offer trendier pieces if you’re a fashion risk-taker! The sizes range from 14 to 28 and they have clothes that fit a range of different body types. For example, Eloquii added Viola sizing, which fits women with bigger hips, butt, and thighs. How cool is that!? If you are looking for modern outerwear, Eloquii is a go-to!

#2 | Asos Curve
Asos Curve is another retailer that has super classic options as well as special occasion pieces. You can find your wardrobe basics like white button-downs. But also snag some fun styles for going out, date night, showers, weddings, etc. And everything is VERY affordable! Their sizes range from 16 to 30. Asos also ships internationally for all of my UK, Australian, German and Canadian readers!

#3 | Old Navy
Old Navy is a go-to for those on a tighter budget. They have a mix of classic pieces and modern basics. The best about Old Navy is that you can shop by body shape! I talk about identifying your body shape in #7 of my Style Reboot series. If you haven’t watched those yet, I highly recommend it! You can shop at Old Navy by these body types: oval, triangle, hourglass, inverted triangle, and rectangle.

#4 | Torrid
Torrid has a HUGE plus-size selection… for clothing, accessories, and more. They have an intimates shop with underwear, bras, lingerie, and shapewear! They also have activewear and swimwear. The accessories cover the basics with belts, scarves, hair accessories, etc. But they also have shoes and boots so you can find wide calf boots for fall/winter. They are very size inclusive with sizes ranging from 10 to 30!

Madewell is the surprise plus-size hit. They started offering extended sizes last year and the reviews are great! Sizes range from 16 to 24, with some jeans offered in sizes up to 37. Their plus-size styles are only available online so you do have to order. But if you’re part of their loyalty program you get to try on plus-size samples in-store before ordering.
