Turn Heads In These Gorgeous Dresses
It’s always challenging to figure out what to wear to a wedding. First, not all weddings are created equal. They are all in different locations, at different times with different levels of dress. If you want a breakdown on what to wear, along with helpful questions to ask yourself before the search, be sure to watch my YouTube video here (coming soon).
Essentially you want to find out what the venue is, what time of day or night (night weddings are dressier) and what the dress code is.
Then you want to ask yourself if you have a preferred hemline, silhouette, and color for your dress. Narrow your search to your top three, order all three, take pictures in each in the mirror and then choose. Remember, you will be photographed so you want to make sure your dress photographs well from both the front and back.
Ultimately, the key to looking stunning as a wedding guest…? THE DRESS. And, I have several options for you below.
This dress by Reformation is GORGEOUS! The way it moves and flows is just stunning. I can see this at a beach or summer wedding. Heck, this could easily be your bridesmaid dress too! It comes in five colors. I’m wearing Blush, but I think Champagne is also gorgeous. This wrap front dress is flattering on any body type, the flutter sleeves provide coverage and ease of movement, and the slit helps show off your gams. I’m wearing this dress with espadrille wedges, which are great for stability if you’re going to a wedding that’s outside on grass or on the beach. You could easily pair it with some gorgeous nude heels too!
Reformation is also environmentally-friendly so it’s an awesome brand to support!
This dress by Bardot definitely merits dancing in the middle of the road in 40 degrees!. I’ve raved about this brand SO many times, you might be sick of hearing about it, but Bardot dresses are SO good and very affordable!
On this dress, the see-through lace sections are strategically placed to create curves and make it even more flattering and sexy. I love that this dress has a halter neckline. It feels fresh. Most of their dresses are in the $100-$200 range, an amazing price for the quality! I paired the dress with these sexy strappy heels from Ann Taylor that are super comfortable!

Talk about a modern dress! This yellow dress is not only warm and comfortable (soft knit), it’s also a WOW dress. The color, the fitted silhouette. It’s fashion-forward without trying too hard. Plus, hello arm coverage!! Yay for sleeves!
For your weddings, I would swap the boots for a pair of nude sandals or pumps. But aren’t these python boots amazing? The dress sizes are limited so I linked the dress from FIVE different stores. If you don’t see it in your size at one retailer, click one of the other options to find it!
