But, I really love to spice up my summer style uniform with a ‘not-so-basic’ tee…I love t-shirts with interesting, standout details like ruffles, puff sleeves, cutouts, ruching, etc. It adds a little pizazz and pop to your look. It’s not always easy to find these standout staples so I wanted to share 15 of my favorite trendy tees to help you with your hunt…

Elevated White Tee
If you are anything like me, you kinda get tired of the same old, same old. There is a place for your basic tee, but it’s really great to have options especially if you live a fairly casual lifestyle like I do. I strategically search for interesting t-shirts like this white pleated sleeve tee by See By Chloe. It’s a great example of a tee with interesting details…in this case, the billowy 3/4 sleeves. Unfortunately, this exact tee is sold out everywhere, but I linked a few similar options above. They all have the unique and special details I love in a casual tee for summer. I paired it with a pair of pinstriped Marissa Web shorts and a chunky gold Paco Rabanne statement necklace. But you could easily wear it front tucked into a pair of jeans with some sandals or even with a cute skirt. I wore this tee on my recent trip to Malibu and loved how versatile it was! If you need an elevated white tee for summer, you can’t go wrong with any of these options!

First off I love your blog! i like option #8 but noticed a review that the material is very thin and they worried that the upper sleeve area would rip easily. I noticed you were wearing this tee in one of your videos and was wondering about you thoughts?
