Affordable Summer Tops
Each year around this time, I’m thinking of where to find fun spring and summer tops to add to my wardrobe to add some excitement. And…this year, more than ever… the goal is to NOT break the bank. Walmart has some super stylish options that I know will surprise you. You’ll ask yourself, “What…? THAT is from Walmart??” Yes. Yes, it is. Everything I’m featuring below is from Walmart. And, all three, cute tops are under $30!

#1 | Crochet Flutter Sleeve Tank
This flutter sleeve tank by Scoop is SO cute! You can wear it on or off the shoulder (and it stays put either way!). It’s crocheted so it’s a knit… but it’s still super lightweight and can be worn in the spring or summer! You can wear a cami underneath or a black bra or lace bralette. I’m wearing it with a pair of white cropped kick flare jeans and brown espadrille wedges by Scoop. These wedges are super manageable (4” heel), comfortable, and I love the color! I featured the jeans in a recent post featuring 3 must-have stapes for spring/ summer that are under $50! Unfortunately, my bag is sold out in the exact color but it does come in a beautiful white version!

#2 | Silky Faux Wrap Blouse
This silky, beautiful blouse by Prospect The Label is a super flattering wrap style! This very subtle blue and white striped pattern is lovely and elongating… and I love how pretty it looks with white jeans! It also comes in blue, pink, green, and white! There is a tiny modesty hook so you can feel covered and secure. The top flares from the waist to the hemline, creating a feminine peplum effect… which gives your waist more definition.
#3 | Knit Crewneck Sweater
The last under $30 top is also by Scoop! I love the knit fabric and how lightweight it is! If you’re worried about the see-through factor, don’t…It comes with a cami! It also has (roomy) pretty, flutter sleeves that give a super feminine touch. You can wear this with jeans, skirts, and shorts. I can see wearing this top this summer with denim shorts and cute sandals!
The Hills Are Alive!
I shot with Elle, a local photographer, and friend, for this post and I was SO happy for a few reasons: 1) I got out of the house! Yay for that! 2) I got to see Elle who is one of my favorite people. I still pinch myself that I get to live here and see these views every single day.

Having said all that, may I sUggest that you look into Walmart very carefully. Walmart treats its employees very badly, especially in the areas of wages and health care.
