Summer Fashion Accessories
Accessories are a really easy way to change up your look each season. And they’re fun to add to your wardrobe! Spring and summer accessories can include anything from hats and jewelry to shoes, and bags. Just a VERY simple way to elevate your basics and take any look to the next level. Accessories are small details that actually pack quite a style punch. In this post, I wanted to share my top 25 favorites that I’ve either added to my wardrobe recently OR continue to wear season after season…because they are just that good.
If you are looking for new summer shoes, you’ll love this post featuring 9 of my new favorites!
Shoes
Sam Edelman Metallic Flats
First up is something I get requests for all the time…flats! I’m 5’4” and love the little extra height that heels provide. But I understand many of you prefer lower heels or flats. Sam Edelman is known for its high-quality, comfortable, and affordable shoes so you really can’t go wrong with any of their sandals for summer! I also love that the sizes are the same across the board…cause I don’t like returning shoes. The sandals I’m wearing above are the “Gold Leaf” color which is SO versatile, but they come in other colors too. I love the double strap for comfort and stability, but it also looks very sleek and streamlined. You can wear these with pretty much anything for spring and summer.

Stuart Weitzman Wedges
These Stuart Weitzman platform wedges are so chic and perfect to wear with everything this summer. They’re incredibly comfortable to walk in (for heels!) and the nude color is ultra-flattering… your legs will look a mile long! (Which is a major plus if you’re petite like me.) They run true to size.
[flex_row] [/flex_row]
Veronica Beard Wedges
Do you remember these Veronica Beard wedges from last year? I wore them so much that I decided to try out another pair of the brand’s espadrilles for this spring! The new pair you’re seeing above are equally chic and comfortable. I love the criss-cross top, luxe suede fabric mixed with the traditional espadrille texture, and manageable 3.5” heel. The thick wedge makes them super easy to walk in and I love that they’re a simple slip-on mule…a must-have for quick summer dressing when you need to be ready and out the door in minutes! The neutral color will literally go with everything too! They run true to size.

Sezane Clogs
Clogs and strappy sandals like this pair by Sezane are very on-trend right now so I was excited to try these! They’re super comfortable, a beautiful color, and manageable heel. They don’t come in half sizes so I sized up to an 8 as the site suggests, and they’re perfect. I’ve styled them with jeans but can’t wait to wear them with shorts, dresses, and skirts this summer.
If you’re interested in more of the spring/summer shoe trends, make sure you check out this post next.
Pink Rag & Bone Retro Sneakers
How fun are these pink sneakers?! I have these Rag & Bone sneakers in black and taupe and love them so much that I decided to grab them in pink for summer. I have already worn them to many lacrosse tournaments. These sneakers are the perfect mix of fashion and function. They are cute, stylish, fun, and super comfortable! They run true to size.

Valentino Rockstud Wedges
For my high fashion lovers, I present the perfect summer designer sandal by Valentino! I’m going to have a full review of these sandals coming to the site next month but spoiler alert…they’re amazing! Valentino is well-known for the studded details on their shoes, bags, and other accessories. I love that the studs add the perfect touch of edginess to these espadrille wedges. The metallic color is very on-trend, but they also come in a few other colors. They have a 3.75” heel, but the 3/4” platform makes them easier to walk in than you would expect! They have an ankle strap, so they aren’t as easy to get on as the Veronica Beard slide-on wedges above, but the buckle is still pretty simple and quick to get on and off. Plus, you will feel extra secure with the strap. They run true to size.
See by Chloe Platforms
I own a few pairs of See by Chloe wedges and platforms so when I saw these, I knew I’d love them. The gold stud and buckle strap details on these platform sandals are so pretty. I love the jute detail and chunky block heel too. They’re also very comfortable to walk in (for heels)! They run true to size.
Brown Sam Edelman Sandals
I recently purchased these Sam Edelman slide-on sandals, and have been wearing them nonstop. They’re a great everyday sandal option that is incredibly versatile. The style is very similar to the popular Hermes “Oran” sandals without the Hermes price tag. Throw them on with jeans, shorts, dresses, skirts, joggers, etc. They’re chic, high-quality, comfortable, and come in a bunch of colors. They run true to size.
Madewell Slides
If you need a casual pair of sandals to throw on with pretty much anything, these are a great option! The double strap and cushiony sole are very comfortable and I love the ease of a slide-on sandal! They run true to size.
Chloe Sneakers
These Chloe sneakers are not only fashionable but functional too! I’m not kidding…I’ve literally hiked in these shoes while we were in Israel. The cool blanket stitching, mixed media style, and 2.5-inch platform were the initial draw to these unique sneakers. But, the comfort is what keeps me reaching for them consistently.
Jewelry
Pearl Earrings
There’s something about pearl jewelry that just screams summer! I recently got these gorgeous pearl hoops by Nest. The little pearl details dangle off the gold-plated hoops in such a pretty way. They’re not too heavy and I can’t wait to wear them all summer long.

Dean Davidson Necklace & Charms
This Dean Davidson necklace and charms were one of my Mother’s Day gifts, and I love it so much. The two gemstones are my children’s birthstones… it’s such a special piece I will be wearing for years! Use code BUSBEEDD25 for 25% off!
Julie Vos Hoop Earrings
Julie Vos is one of my go-to brands for high-quality jewelry that’s subtle but still bold enough to make an impact. These hoop earrings are 24k gold-plated, have pretty marquise gemstones, are a great size, and are under $100!
[flex_row] [/flex_row]
Julie Vos Bracelets
Some of these Julie Vos bracelets might look familiar because I’ve owned them for a while. But before my trip to Africa, I picked up a few more to stack with my other favorites and I really love the way they all look styled together.
Dean Davidson Hoops
These Dean Davidson hoops have been a go-to, classic pair of hoops I’ve had for about a year. They go with everything, are durable and substantial without being heavy, and they’re really high-quality. They are a pair of earrings I know I’ll wear for years.

New Monica Vinader Pieces
Monica Vinader is another jewelry brand I LOVE so much. I recently shared a post where I talked about the timeless pieces every woman should have in her wardrobe and I featured these Monica Vinader pieces. All of their pieces are 18k gold vermeil covered, which is super high-quality and keeps them from tarnishing. It helps them last much longer and keeps them looking beautiful so I can wear them for years to come. These are the newest additions to my collection.
Elizabeth Cole Earrings
If I’m looking for a pair of statement earrings, Elizabeth Cole is a brand I always check. All of her pieces are vibrant, bold, and so gorgeous. This pair has beautiful pearls and crystals that really pack a punch.

Paco Rabanne Necklace
I have a few Paco Rabanne necklaces now and just love how bold and chunky they are. This gold necklace has been a heavy hitter for a while and really makes a statement!

Bags & Other Accessories
Pink Burberry Scarf, Sezane Scarf, & Banana Republic Scarf
Every woman should own a gorgeous scarf and these are a few of the newest additions to my scarf collection. The first is a beautiful Burberry scarf that’s unfortunately sold out (but I linked a similar one), the second is a fun floral scarf from Sezane that I’ve tied on my handbag and around my neck, and the third is a safari-themed silky scarf from Banana Republic that I’ve worn on my head, around my neck, and as a belt! As you can see, there are so many ways you can style a scarf for the perfect mix of fashion and function!
Chanel Flap Bag
I had my eye on this Chanel bag for years and could never find it in a store. While I was in New York, I happened to find it and was SO happy. I went in and purchased the bag and it was a really big moment for me. You can listen to the full story behind this bag in this video (at 5:25). But let’s just say…it’s basically all I’ve been carrying lately! I love the mixed metal chain, the bigger size, and the overall chic style and quilting.
Banana Republic Belt Bag
I grabbed this Banana Republic belt bag for our trip to Africa but I think it’s a great bag to have if you’re a really busy mom who likes to be hands-free. You can fit the essentials in this bag but that’s about it…
Fendi Tote
But if you’re looking for something that will carry the essentials and more, this Fendi tote is a gorgeous option. I bought it for travel, and it fits perfectly on top of my suitcase. I LOVE how much room it has…I can literally fit so much into this bag I couldn’t believe it!
Prada Raffia Bag
Remember this raffia bag from last year? It’s great for summer AND it’s been ideal for travel. We traveled to the Middle East last year and I carried this bag from Israel to Jordan to the pyramids in Egypt. It’s lightweight yet big enough to carry all the essentials. It has a detachable shoulder strap and a removable pouch for quick-grab items like lipstick or keys. Because of its unique triangle shape, it works as both a sporty/casual and dressy bag making it incredibly functional.
Bottega Veneta White Bag
This GORGEOUS white Bottega Veneta cassette bag continues to be a favorite of mine! It’s so unique and truly a very special bag. The chain is hefty and luxe and I love the oversized woven leather that Bottega Veneta is known for. It’s pretty pricey but there are plenty of look-a-likes out there or you can try a classic white handbag.
Valentino Belt
You need a nice belt for spring/summer AND fall/winter! So if you haven’t found one you love, now’s the time! I love these reversible Valentino belts. The white one reverses to black as does the honey-brown one. If you’re looking for something more affordable, I love this belt too!
Sunglasses
Celine Two-Tone Sunglasses
Whether you’re wearing a pair of designer shades or a more affordable option, a chic pair of sunglasses is an instant, easy way to elevate a look. I love these two-tone Celine sunglasses because they’re a great size for my face and they go with everything!
White Dior Sunglasses
For a little extra glam, go with a fun pair of sunglasses like these white Dior frames. If you don’t like white, consider making a statement with a different color like pink or red sunglasses!
Fendi Aviator Sunglasses
These Fendi aviators are really cool and I love the logo details on the lenses. But a classic pair of aviator sunglasses will give you the same look and are a must-have in every woman’s wardrobe.
Loewe Sunglasses
If you like to experiment with your eyewear, these Loewe sunglasses are a unique, funky shape that I love. They’re so chic but I love that they’re also a little unexpected!
Gucci Sunglasses
These sunglasses are the perfect accessory when you are rushing out the door and just need to throw on something to look pulled together. Because they are large frames, they are “no makeup required” sunglasses. You look effortlessly chic, and they cover a pretty large portion of your face. Just add some lip gloss and you are out the door! For some modern and affordable sunglasses brands, check out Le Specs and QUAY.

Hi Erin,
Love your choices. Can you help with choosing a handbag for a triangle body shape? I am pretty curvy below and would like some ideas on picking a bag that is in style that doesn’t draw attention to my lower half.
Thanks!
Hi Carla! Look for a bag that falls between your waist and hips like a shoulder bag or a crossbody that has an adjustable strap so you can make it shorter than traditional crossbody bags. We shared some new handbags in this post: https://busbeestyle.com/summer-handbags/ and definitely recommend this Marc Jacobs bag because you can carry it as a shoulder bag or shorten the crossbody strap to your perfect length! https://rstyle.me/+qVBwXGKLNkGbWPq2RHBiWA Let us know if we can help you find more options! ~Team Busbee
