Make a Statement!
After months of living in Europe, I’ve noticed some changes…especially in the fashion department. For starters, I went from being a total print-phobe…like only wearing solid colors 24/7 to…to being obsessed with prints! I’ve purchased several beautiful printed blouses here in Spain and this newfound print love shows no sign of slowing down as I also bought three printed dresses! (This seems like the appropriate time to use, ‘Who dis’?”) One of the things that I think is so great about printed pieces is… they add instant pizazz and style to even the most basic look. It’s like a sneaky and simple way to elevate your outfit. In this post, I want to share some of my favorite printed blouse finds that I think will work beautifully for the holidays and beyond. These gorgeous tops make a statement, but as you will see, they are also quite versatile and wearable.

Ba & sh Blouse
The fashion discoveries just keeps coming with the discovery of a ‘new-ish-to-me’ brand Ba&sh, a Parisian brand known for making chic, elevated essentials.
This polka dot blouse is a perfect example of an elevated essential. It’s a classic print, but all the details make it anything but basic. I paired it with some classic black jeans and booties. This would be great look for Thanksgiving… fashionable, but very functional too.
Back to the details on this stunning blouse. There’s a V-shaped cutout in the back that shows just the right amount of skin, but you can still wear a regular bra without it showing. WIN! Of course, I loved the subtle puff shoulder and ruching around the cuff! Another cool detail you can’t really see in photos is that the cuffs have zippers so you can wear it fitted to the wrist or unzip it a little. Another amazing thing about this top? It’s SO lightweight! This is perfect for those of you who may have hot flashes or simply run hot. It’s also not too long or billowy so you can easily tuck it into jeans, pants, or skirts, with no added bulk around the tummy. Because it’s so thin, it also layers beautifully under a jacket or blazer.

Black Jeans
I styled the beautiful top with some black cropped flare jeans by Rag & Bone. The exact pair is sold out, but I linked some similar options above. You could also style this top with some dark wash skinny jeans (if you’re not ready for the relaxed-fit jean trend yet). You could even wear this top with a black pencil skirt for an office party or a shorter skirt or leather pants for a dressier holiday party. There is also a matching skirt in the same print here.

Boots
On my feet, I’m wearing my new favorite boots by Isabel Marant. I love them so much, I even included them on my Gift Guide For Her! Anything western-inspired is HUGE right now…Not just in the U.S., I’m also seeing the trend here in Spain! I love the cool silver details on these, the heel is super manageable, and they’re very comfortable. They are definitely a splurge but I linked some more affordable options above too.
