If Pumpkin Spice Is Wrong, I Don’t Want To Be Right
PSL’s are on the menu again which means fall is officially in the air! Are you getting any of the fall feels? While we don’t get much of a true fall season here in Southern Cal, it has always been my favorite season. Fall fashion, fall décor, a bit of a cool breeze—there are so many reasons to love this time of year.
When it comes to fall home décor, do you prefer the brighter shades or neutrals? I tend to steer away from bright orange and lean toward shades of white and beige with a touch of bronze and green. This way, my seasonal updates can last through Thanksgiving. You can elegantly decorate for fall with a chic, neutral color palette! It’s all about using subtle tweaks that feel festive yet sophisticated. If you’re looking for a few neutral, autumn-inspired pieces, we’ve got some great options.
Elegant Fall Home Decor With A Chic, Neutral Color Palette!
Distressed Ceramic Vases
An easy way to add color to your home while keeping in line with a neutral color palette is to use an assortment of vases throughout your decor. You can add a bouquet of neutral-colored flowers to a few of them or use them on their own as elegant fall decor. I usually stick to vases like this Distressed Ceramic Vase from Hearth & Hand with Magnolia for the perfect way to add a touch of chic elegance to my home.
Neutral Florals & Greenery
Even when you’re using a neutral color palette, there are numerous ways to incorporate florals and greenery in your fall decor. For example, this Pampas Grass Set of 3 from Z Gallerie would look stunning in a textured vase, like the one mentioned above, and this Artificial White Eucalyptus Cone Stem White from Target stands out on its own, or as part of a lovely neutral-colored floral arrangement or wreath for your front door.
Faux Pumpkins
Faux pumpkins are must-haves for chic fall decorations. Incorporate several, in neutral colors, to highlight the fall vibe in any area of your home, whether you’re decorating your front porch or living room. I like to incorporate different textures, like these Dover White Ceramic Pumpkins and several of Glass Pumpkin Jars, to add some variety to my fall decorations while sticking to the neutral color palette.
Candles
Do you ever feel like your home isn’t properly decorated without at least a few candles? If so, we have that in common. Candles are perfect adding a cozy element to any decor theme, especially when you’re decorating your home for fall. There are endless options when it comes to candles, including classic pillar candles and candles with decorative elements, like these Mid-Century Whitewashed Wood Lanterns from West Elm or this beautiful Spiced Pumpkin Latte Mini Jar Candle.
Soft Touches
Finally, don’t forget to incorporate soft touches throughout your home decor. Cozy elements like this gorgeous Animal Print Pillow Cover not only adds interest to your decor, it also makes the space look more inviting to anyone who enters your home.
