#1 | Radiant Cleansing Balm
This isn’t necessarily an anti-aging treatment but it’s very gentle on mature skin. I talk about this cleansing balm in every single post I write featuring Colleen Rothschild products because it’s THAT good! And, it’s one of my all-time favorites. Using this balm is like a spa treatment. It’s rich and creamy and the smell is amazing! It’s different than a normal cleaner because you massage it onto dry skin (versus wet skin) …and it took me a while to get used to it. But now, I’m absolutely HOOKED and I exclusively use balm or oil to clean my face. It now comes in a jumbo size that I like to buy since I use it day and night.

The key ingredients in the balm are:
Moringa Oil – helps with brightening your skin
Lipexel™ – helps with dehydrated skin
Black Seed Oil – helps with inflammation, reduces clogged pores, and controls oil
Aromatic Complex – helps to calm and decongest your skin
As many of you know we are focusing on clean beauty here on the Busbee Style team. Fragrance is one of those ingredients that can be harmful. The exact fragrance ingredients are not delineated on products because that information is proprietary to the product. I asked Colleen personally about her Fragrances and she assured me that it is safe and contains nothing harmful or toxic. Also, it’s worth noting that her products do NOT contain the following:
Parabens, SLS/SLES Sulfates, Phthalates, Triclosan, Formaldehyde, PABA, Toluene, or Benzene.
#2 | Retinol Supreme Eye Serum
Retinol is the gold standard ingredient for anti-aging. It is backed by real science. If you truly want to use skincare to combat fine lines, you should try using retinol (unless you’re pregnant, of course)! My problem area on my face is my crow’s feet (the area around the eyes). To help with these fine lines, I use the Retinol Supreme Eye Serum. I use it in the AM and PM… after cleansing. I gently pat it around my eyes using my ring finger.

Another favorite is the Retinol Supreme Night Oil! It is a combination of retinol and Colleen’s best-selling Face Oil No. 9. The face oil offsets the dryness often caused by retinol. Living at altitude in one of the driest climates, my skin needs a LOT of hydration. This oil is AMAZING! The smell, the texture, the feel… everything. It absorbs quickly and never leaves you feeling greasy.

I use the restorative eye cream, thE hydrating floral essence and the repairative moisturizer with the beautifying face oil. I also use a Vitamin C serum in the moRning and a retinal in thE evening – but they are different products.
