Functional Office Space
Erin’s cloffice serves a few different purposes – it’s a workspace, a studio for filming, a retreat, and let’s not forget a decadent closet full of her collection of amazing clothes, handbags and shoes. It’s a peaceful and inviting space with minimalistic, modern décor. Good lighting is so key when Erin is filming or shooting images and this space not only has spacious windows, but the most serene views of mountains and trees. The windows are framed in black – a cool design detail I keep seeing in modern homes. The windows are a focal point in the room and the black trim is a beautiful contrast to the white built-in furniture. Erin chose gold accents for the cabinet hardware, sparkling chandelier, and “selfie” mirror.
Her cloffice also includes a built-in beverage fridge, cozy seating area, and electric black-out shades. The herringbone floors stand out as one of her favorite features so you’ll only find one rug to soften the space and add some texture. Closet Storage
Let’s talk about the storage…sunglasses, jewelry, handbags, hats…there is a place for everything and everything has its place. While there is hanging space for dresses, and shelves for shoes that are not enclosed behind cabinet doors, there are also tall storage cabinets so not everything is out on display. Things like suitcases, workout gear, and studio and tech equipment are neatly tucked away. She also uses pretty linen storage bins for her smaller handbags, wallets and hats…and the same linen drop-front boxes for keeping sweaters and shoes dust-free. Extra long and shallow drawers are ideal for her sunglasses and jewelry. She even has a storage cabinet for her printer – keeping her desk area clutter-free!

Finishing Touches
Erin’s personal touches include some designer fashion and travel books and simple, elegant rose arrangements. Notice all of her hangers match which keeps everything neat and cohesive. Her floor mirror is gold to match all the gold hardware, but also very feminine with the small rosettes. And last but not least…my favorite part of Erin’s cloffice, the “evening view”. The under-cabinet and shelf lighting is seriously Architectural Digest worthy!
