A Stylish Activewear Look You Can Wear From The Gym To Errands & Beyond

How’s your workout routine going lately? I’m personally not trying to put pressure on myself to get to the gym or do an hour-long workout anymore. Instead, I’m focusing on simply moving my body so that I feel good. Things like walking the dog, hiking, push-ups and/or the occasion wall sit, dancing around the house while you clean…it all counts as being “active” in my book. And sometimes putting on a cute activewear outfit can make all the difference between wanting to get some movement in or not! Below, I’m sharing a new activewear outfit I picked up during the NSale that you can wear straight from the gym (or your house) to errands to a quick coffee date…

Blanc Noir Jacket

First, I want to talk about this super cool jacket by Blanc Noir. This brand has a new, chic, sporty jacket in the NSale each year and this year was no exception. Olive green is one of my favorite colors to wear so when I saw this jacket, I knew I had to try it on. It has zipper pockets and snap closures that make it feel a little edgier, which I love. The coolest part is that there’s a hidden, zipped hoodie in the collar! I really like the shorter length and that it’s a super lightweight jacket…making it perfect for throwing on to and from a workout or just running errands. The site says it runs small but I found that it runs true to size.

Zella Cropped Tank

Underneath the jacket, I’m wearing a cropped tank by Zella. If you’re looking for a classic black longline sports bra or cropped tank, this is a wonderful option. Zella is an in-house brand for Nordstrom, and they always have great activewear during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. This tank has a built-in shelf bra, supportive straps, and a flattering V-neckline. I would wear this tank for Pilates, Tracy Anderson, or yoga but it’s not quite supportive enough for HIIT or cardio. It runs true to size.

Zella Yoga Pants

I paired the cropped tank with these Zella yoga pants that are SO comfy. Over the past few years, we’ve seen jeans and pants transition from skinny silhouettes to wider legs. Well, it’s happening for yoga pants too! These are cropped, flared yoga pants I know I’ll wear a ton around the house, for workouts, and for quick errands. Online it says they are a flared leg silhouette but I found they fit more like a straight leg, which I really like. The 27” inseam is perfect on me (I’m 5’4”) and the high-rise (10.5”) feels secure but not too sucked in. They do run a little large so I might consider ordering one size down.

HOFF Sneakers

To complete your activewear outfit or casual errands look, throw on a cool pair of sneakers! These sneakers really surprised me because I hadn’t heard of the brand before but I really love them. They have a cool retro look and the different neutral tones make them super wearable. I’ll wear them with yoga pants, jeans, skirts, and pants. I bought the color ‘San Diego’ but they come in a few other colors as well. They’re super comfortable (have a memory foam insole), lightweight, and unique. They come in European sizes and only whole sizes. The site recommends ordering 1/2 size up if you’re between sizes, which is what I did, and they are perfect. I bought a 38 and normally wear a 7.5. By the way, if you’re headed to a workout you need to wear workout sneakers for, consider swapping these for a pair of ON sneakers…I have a few pairs and they’re very comfortable, lightweight and supportive.
