5 Days At Disney
I have a post and video with ten tips to help you do Disney like a pro coming soon! But until then, I wanted to share what I wore while we were there. Walking around Disney, it can get HOT! So staying cool and comfortable was key. See how I did it below.
Travel Look
I always try to stay comfortable on the plane. So wearing my favorite jeans and a tee is my perfect travel look! These jeans are by Rag & Bone and the tee is by LNA. I wore my bulkiest shoes…the sneakers I planned to wear around Disney. And a leather jacket to keep me warm on the plane, which is ALWAYS chilly.
Day 1 | White Top & Shorts
This look was perfect for walking around the park! The flowy white top was breezy and cool. I also liked that it has sleeves and a high neck so it kept me protected from the sun. I wore my favorite denim shorts under the dress for extra coverage since the dress is short. I shared more about this white top in this post. For more information on the best denim shorts, click here. Since I knew we’d be walking a lot, I wore my sneakers. They come in multiple colors, are lightweight, and comfortable. DO NOT wear sandals or any shoes… other than sneakers. You will likely walk more than 15,000 steps. (I kept track) So… my STRONG advice is… wear sneakers!!
Day 1, Evening Look| Brown Tank Dress
We took a mid-day rest at our hotel, Animal Kingdom Lodge and then went back to the Magic Kingdom for fireworks. I wanted to wear something a bit more elegant so I wore this chic, brown tank dress. It’s a unique color and lightweight. I’m wearing some super comfortable Sam Edelman sandals that have more cushion than most sandals. I could get away with sandals in the evening because we did not walk nearly as much.
Day 2 | Shorts & Tee
This is an easy look to replicate and my summer uniform: jean shorts and a tee. Throw on your favorite white tee and high waist denim shorts …with your comfiest sneakers for a long day at Epcot or Disney!
On Day 2, we toured Epcot. My favorite ride was “Soarin’ Around the World.” I thought it was so spectacular, I got a little emotional on the ride. Embarrassing, I know!
We saw the fireworks that evening, but I just wore the same outfit.
Day 3 | Tank Dress
On Day 3, we headed to Animal Kingdom.
I wore this comfortable tank dress above that I featured in another post here. I love this tank dress and have it in black as well. The material is soft and lightweight and can be dressed up or down!
Day 3, Evening | Tank Dress and Sweater
That evening, we mostly stayed indoors since we were pretty overheated from Animal Kingdom. I threw on a textured, white sweater and we ate in the lobby of our cool hotel.
I am a BIG fan of an all-neutral look. I just did a post here on how to wear neutrals for spring/summer. I’m wearing the same tank dress with a waffle knit sweater over it. I threw on my favorite espadrilles.
