High Neckline Tops!
As women in our 40s, it can be hard to try new, trendy things. That’s why I love it when something that’s “on trend” or popular is actually really flattering for us more mature ladies! One example…? High necklines! These tops are great for covering up your décolleté and neck area in a pretty and feminine way. They are personally one of my favorite blouse styles. I love the drama and the elegance of the high-neck.

#1 | Blue Leopard Print Blouse
This leopard print blouse is by Aqua from Bloomingdale’s. It’s a GORGEOUS blue color that will be perfect for fall. I love that it’s a subtle leopard print. The smocking around the tummy area will help create a waist or you can easily tuck it in. And I love the balloon sleeves! How insane are these pictures, btw. Shout out to Elle for capturing these stunning images.

#2 | Ganni Leopard Blouse
For a less subtle leopard print option…try this Ganni top! I LOVE this print! It’s leopard, which is very popular right now, but this specific print has the most beautiful color combination! Another great thing about this top is that it’s flowy in the body so it’s nice for hiding a tummy! Make sure you check out this video where I styled this top other ways.
#3 | WAYF Lace Top
I’ve featured this top everywhere…on the blog, on Instagram, and on YouTube! It’s definitely my favorite top of the season so far. I even dedicated an entire blog post to it! I love the pretty lace and subtle puff shoulders. Lace is a big trend this fall…check out all the fall trends in this video and post.
#4 | Frame Silk Blouse
I’ve featured this silk blouse on YouTube in multiple videos. It’s a gorgeous top that you can wear in the spring and summer. But it easily transitions to fall/winter because of how beautifully it layers under jackets! If you don’t like your arms to show, it also comes in a long sleeve version! (and in black).

Thank you so much for keeping me in fashion:) I truly love your style and styling tips!
As an older woman I didn’t expect to be excited by looking at clothes etc after all you can only wear so many clothes but when I see your video arriving in my in-box I get so excited. Unlike other people I see you show that there is a science to what you do that goes beyond the area of an INFLUENCER.As we say here in Ireland – Maith Thù!
Thank you, Brid. I’m so happy that you are enjoying the videos and that you are implementing what you see.
Hi Erin…..I love your posts……some great fashion tips. However, I have noticed in both london england and europe in general when i was there last, that the jeans with holes is a thing of the past and not much of a fashion statement anymore except for a few ‘hangers on’.
I would love to see a segment on monochromatic dressing……i.e. all blues in different strengths, etc. also, what are the latest makeup trends…..are the heavier eyebrows still in???
thanks
alice
