The Best Fall Trend For Women Over 40 To Wear This Year

I know we aren’t traveling much right now but if you’re a trend-lover like I am, NEUTRAL COLORS are one the best and easiest trends to wear for fall! You may remember that I started adding neutrals like brown, beige, tan, into my wardrobe a couple of years ago.

Well now, neutrals are THE color trend of the season! Neutrals are easy for many reasons; 1) They are simple to style. You can add ONE neutral piece to your wardrobe and look super chic and on-trend. 2) Neutrals will pair beautifully with pretty much anything! It can be a top or sweater, handbag, booties, or whatever you want. And, 3) Neutral tones are also incredibly versatile.

Keep scrolling to see some of my favorite neutral pieces that are super affordable and stylish from Walmart…

You all know how much I love a 2-in-1 piece and this Sofia Vergara sweater (#12) can be worn two ways! You can wear it with the wrap-front in the front or back. It also has subtle puff sleeves. Not in love with this color? It also comes in gray, black, and burgundy.

I love a good bodysuit and this camel Sofia Vergara puff sleeve bodysuit (#1) does not disappoint! I plan to rock this with all of my baggy jeans this fall. It also comes in teal, white, and black.
Pair this gorgeous shade with camel, black or dark denim for the perfect elevated basic for fall!

Another neutral favorite is this cool midi sweater skirt by Time and Tru (#11). The brown is really pretty but it comes in three other neutral colors. Throw this on for a simple polished and comfy work-from-home outfit!

For a nice, lightweight cardigan, check out this Sofia Vergara cardigan (#8). It comes in three other colors. This faux shearling bomber jacket (#9) is THE BOMB! I absolutely love it! Shearling is another popular trend for fall. I’m sharing all of the fall trends in a YouTube video coming soon…

If you don’t already have your basics covered, Walmart has tons of neutral basics to fill your wardrobe basics checklist. #2, #5, and #10 are all great fall bootie options. I’ve also chosen my favorite brown and black bags (#4 and #13). If you’re looking for white and black base layers, #7 is a nice turtleneck sweater you can pair with anything. And #14 is a pretty, versatile black blouse for work or dinner. Aren’t the sleeves so cool? Love an impactful design detail!
