RED DRESS | SUNGLASSES | SANDALS | SIMILAR EARRINGS
Deciding what to wear to an upcoming wedding is a daunting task.
Weddings are special events, and I think it makes us all feel like, we have to look special too.
Do NOT worry!
I have MANY dress ideas (below), and some questions to help you focus your search.
First let’s talk about the look above.
The red dress by Alice + Olivia is elegant and sexy.
The neckline feels fresh and modern, but everything is still covered up.
The length is also quite lovely, just below the knees.

Note to Self…
First things first.
You need to focus your search.
Here are some questions to help you…
1) What is your budget?
My first question with clients is always…what is your budget?
Once you have decided on your budget, now let’s talk about style.
Here are some dress options under $100.
Keep scrolling to see more ideas.
2) How do you want to look?
Think about the answer.
Do you want to look sexy? Elegant? Fashion forward? Pretty?
These adjectives all bring different styles of dresses to mind.
3) Do you prefer to wear certain colors?
Or maybe some colors you would rather avoid?
This can help you narrow down your search.
I usually search for red, pink, orange, yellow and blue.
4) What is the dress code?
You can find just about every scenario on “The Knot’s” wedding dress code guide here.
"Ultimately, you want to pick a dress you feel incredibly confident and comfortable wearing!"

This super cute, one-shoulder dress by Vince Camuto (above) is affordable ($128) and comfy!
The fit and flare silhouette will hide bigger hips and thighs.
The full skirt will also create curves, if you are like me and you are shaped like a rectangle.
I paired the dress with some gold, ankle strap sandals with a chunky heel by Sam Edelman.
Again…these are SO, SO comfy.
I also love the orange and gold combo!
