Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2023 Outfits – NSale Try-On
That’s right…we have even MORE NSale outfits to share with you!
If you follow along with our Nordstrom Anniversary Sale coverage, you know that I went into a Nordstrom store in Denver on the first day of the sale to try on the pieces I was eyeing. There’s something about actually getting to touch and feel the quality to decide if it’s really worth it. I shared all of the outfits I came up with in this post, which is a must-read if you haven’t already checked it out.
Not every Nordstrom store carries every piece, so I placed an order of items that weren’t in-store and had them shipped to my house. Below, you’ll find more of my NSale favorites and complete outfits ALL on sale!
If you have NSale questions or want to shop more of our favorites (in 30+ categories) make sure you check out this post too.
Note: This is a highly shopped sale and while there are some restocks, many products sell out quickly or have limited sizing at this point in the sale. Our team works hard to cover this sale and updates posts with the most recent, relevant information as often as possible. If something is sold out, we have linked a similar option for you.

#1) White Bodysuit & Coated Jeans
In this first look, I’m wearing the same Good American bodysuit I wore in this post, but in this gorgeous white color. The fabric looks so luxe, the wrap front style is very flattering, and the fit is great. I want to point out that the sleeves are a little long on me but I don’t want to size down because the rest of the top fits so well.
I paired the bodysuit with some black coated wide-leg jeans by Joe’s that I featured in my First Impressions video. They are really long so I have to wear platform heels or get them hemmed. They also have a subtle barrel-leg, which makes my leg look a little bow-legged. But I do really like the fit and that the coated denim makes them feel more elevated and dressy.
On my feet, I’m wearing a pair of black Schutz booties that I love so much I also bought them in white (which you’ll see me wearing below). Schutz makes beautiful shoes at affordable prices, which means they’re even more affordable when they’re on sale ($120)! This pair of booties is comfortable (for heels), have a 4” heel, and a dressier feel.
SIZE REFERENCE: I’m 5’4″ and wear size 2-4, Small & 26 Jeans. All items run true to size unless specifically stated.

#2) Cropped Blazer & Joggers
This cool cropped faux leather blazer is another piece I featured in my First Impressions video and was so excited to get my hands on it. It’s only $60 and such a great blazer to have in your closet! I’m wearing the pretty beige color but it also comes in black. The faux leather quality is nice, I love the fit, and the cropped length is perfect for petite women. Underneath the blazer, I’m wearing a cropped lace cami that’s older and sold out. But I linked another black cami that I love and is also part of the NSale. It’s a wonderful basic if you don’t have that covered yet.
I’m wearing the blazer and cami with a pair of AllSaints cargo joggers that are SO cool! I love the super lightweight, cool-to-the-touch fabric. The cargo details make these an edgy piece you can pair with feminine pieces like I did for a fun juxtaposition. They also fit and feel really nice and the length is perfect for me. They keep going in and out of stock so if you see them in your size, grab them!
On my feet, I’m wearing a pair of slingbacks by Reiss that have these cool mesh panels. I loved them so much that I also bought them in the nude color they have (photo above). They have a small, manageable, heel, are comfortable, and will go with everything!
#3) Gray Sweater & Joggers
I wanted to show you a casual way to style the joggers too so I threw on this gray AllSaints sweater that you may recognize from my last NSale Outfits roundup where I styled it with jeans. I LOVE this outfit. On my feet, I’m wearing a pair of black Steve Madden lug-sole booties. Steve Madden has had a version of these booties in the sale for the past two years and I didn’t think they could get any better…until I put these on my feet. They are so lightweight, they’re HALF the weight of last year’s booties. They’re comfortable, easy to get on/off, easy to walk in, and super versatile.

#4) Gray Sweater & Leggings
Next up, I styled the same gray AllSaints sweater, scarf, and black Steve Madden booties with the infamous Spanx faux leather leggings. These Spanx leggings are in the sale every single year and are easily one of the most popular items. If you scroll through Instagram during the NSale, you’ll see these leggings styled in SO many ways by so many creators. I prefer wearing them casually with a sweater and booties, but many women also like to dress them up.

#5) Off-White Sweater & Joggers
Next up, I’m sharing one more way to style those cool AllSaints joggers. This time, with the Free People sweater you saw me wearing here in brown. I loved it so much I bought it in three colors (keep scrolling to see it in black). In this look, I’m wearing the color Silver Feather, which is very versatile, but all of the color options are really pretty. The cropped length of the sweater is perfect with high-rise pants or jeans and I love the chunky cable knit look for fall.
On my feet, I’m wearing a pair of wedge booties by Veronica Beard. These booties are super chic, sleek, and comfy. They have about a 4” heel but since they’re wedges, they’re more manageable. If heels aren’t you’re thing, just swap them for the Steve Madden booties instead.

#6) Black Sweater & Jeans
In this look, I’m wearing the Free People sweater in black. Again, I love the cropped length with the high-rise jeans. These jeans are by Mother and keep going in and out of stock because they’re just that good. If you can get your hands on them, they’re a wonderful basic to have in your closet!
On my feet, I’m wearing a pair of Dolce Vita loafers that are a must-have if you work in an office or are just looking for a comfy pair of flats. They’re unique, chic, and super versatile. They run a little big so I recommend sizing down half a size.

#7) Wrap Sweater & Jeans
I styled the same Mother jeans with this cute little wrap sweater by WAYF that’s only $60 and one of those sweaters you’ll wear on repeat for fall. Wrap-style tops are super flattering on all body shapes and the V-neckline is very elongating. I love the knot detail on the side and the subtle blouson sleeves. It comes in a few colors too. On my feet, I’m wearing the same Schutz booties from #1, but in white! They’re such chic, streamlined, sophisticated booties that you’ll wear with everything from jeans to skirts and dresses.
#8) Black Jumpsuit
Next is this chic black jumpsuit by Steve Madden. I love the silky fabric, flattering belted waist and V-neckline, and roomy sleeves. I have it on with the black Schutz booties, which have about a 4” heel, and the length is perfect. It’s very elongating and slimming. And…it’s only $71! This would be perfect for dinners, dates, parties, events, etc.
#9) Sweater Tank & Black Pants
This would be a great look if you work in an office or have a business casual event coming up. I’m wearing the same ivory sweater tank from my NSale outfits post here. It has pretty flutter details around the sleeves, a nice, ribbed texture, is very soft, and so versatile. I half-tucked it into a pair of Treasure & Bond wide-leg trousers that are unfortunately sold out right now, but I linked a similar option below. I completed the look with the same Reiss slingbacks and come Monica Vinader jewelry.

#10) Mesh Printed Dress
This was a bit of a wildcard, but I was so excited to try it! I featured it in my First Impressions video and was bummed when I didn’t see it in the Denver store, so I ordered it instead. It’s an AllSaints dress in this cool printed, lightweight, mesh fabric. The bodice has a built-in slip that’s shorter than the hemline, so you only get that see-through effect on the sleeves and part of the legs, which is super sexy but feels appropriate. I love the criss-cross, draped high neck that feels very sophisticated and feminine. I styled it with a pair of L’Agence mules that are so comfy and a great wardrobe basic. I’m wearing last year’s version of the heels but this year they come in black and beige suede.
#11) White Bodysuit & Blue Jeans
In this look, Denise is wearing the same white Good American bodysuit I’m wearing in look #1 with a pair of flared jeans by Pistola. She loves the fit, flattering flared leg,and high-rise. Plus, they’re super affordable considering the quality. These exact jeans keep going in and out of stock, so I also linked some more options below that are the same style, but not part of the sale. On her feet, Denise is wearing the white Schutz booties I shared earlier in this post.
SIZE REFERENCE: Denise is 5’5″ and wears a size 6. All items she’s wearing run true to size unless specifically stated.
#12) Striped Button-Down & Jeans
Next up is this chic striped Veronica Beard button-down shirt. The way that the gathering around the chest and the stripes are aligned make this shirt SO flattering. If you’re looking for a not-so-basic button-down, this is a wonderful option! Denise paired the shirt with a pair of tapered-leg Pistola jeans that we featured in this post. If you can get your hands on these jeans in your size…you won’t regret it. They are SO good. Denise completed the look with a pair of Hoff sneakers that are perfect for casual styling and a classic black belt that’s a wonderful high-quality basic.
#13) Sporty Top & Jeans
Denise is wearing a fun, sporty top by Veronica Beard with the same Pistola jeans and sneakers in this casual, chic look. This tee has a few details we love…a very subtle puff shoulder, shorter sleeves, and the unexpected navy color on the sleeves and neck. You could wear this top with jeans, joggers, shorts, etc.
#14) Sweaters!
Denise purchased a few sweaters during this year’s NSale and these are some of her favorites…
1) AllSaints Sweater – This is the same sweater that I’m wearing above. Denise said last year’s version was her most-worn sweater so she bought this year’s version and said it’s even softer!
2) Nordstrom Sweater – Cashmere for under $100? Yes, please! This sweater is super soft and high-quality.
3) Open Edit Sweater – This boat neck sweater is a great piece to throw on with jeans, skirts, or even over a dress. And it’s only $40!
4) Free People Sweater – This is the same Free People sweater I have in black, brown, and light gray. Denise is wearing it in Chocolate and Silver Feather. It’s one of those great basics to have for fall.

#15) Cable Knit Cardigan & Jeans
Another thing Denise hit the jackpot on during this NSale was…cardigans! We’re sharing three she loved. First up, this Madewell cardigan! The cable knit detail is so unique and pretty, the big buttons are a nice touch, and the fit isn’t too oversized. You can wear it unbuttoned with a cami or tee underneath but Denise has it buttoned up and styled with a pair of frayed hem Mother jeans and the same black Schutz booties. She’s showing it untucked and half-tucked…both are great options!
[flex_row] [/flex_row]
#16) Striped Cardigan & Jeans
The second cardigan Denise grabbed is this chic striped cardigan by Reiss. It has slimming beige stripes down the arms, a flattering V-neckline, and is a great length. It covers your bottom but is a little shorter in front. You can see how Denise styled it buttoned and unbuttoned…I love it both ways!
[flex_row] [/flex_row]
#17) Ribbed Cardigan & Jeans
The third cardigan is one that Denise said she didn’t expect to love because it doesn’t look very special online. But…she loved it! The weight is perfect, the longer length is really nice, and the ribbing and fabric (wool and cashmere blend) look and feel very luxe. Throw this on with jeans and a tee like Denise did or wear it with your lounge clothes at home.
#18) Double-Breasted Blazer
You might recognize this blazer from my First Impressions video. It’s a gorgeous double-breasted blazer by Reiss that has a flattering and unexpected A-line flounce hem in the back. The fit is SO nice and Denise loves that the longer hemline is on-trend but still very wearable. Underneath the blazer, she’s wearing a raw edge tank by Halogen that we feature all. the. time. because it’s such a good basic! She paired them with the same AllSaints cargo pants I’m wearing in a few outfits above. They look SO good on her and I love that she paired them with the L’Agence mules.
#19) Puff-Sleeve Blazer
Next up, Denise is wearing the same tank, pants, and mules with this gorgeous Smythe blazer. The color is gorgeous, the puff sleeves are so fun and feminine, and the one-button closure and rounded hemline makes it SO flattering.
[flex_row] [/flex_row]
#20) Houndstooth Open-Front Blazer
The last jacket Denise purchased is this fun houndstooth open-front blazer by L’Agence. Houndstooth is such a classic pattern and we love the versatile black and camel colors. It has fringe details along the hemline and on the pockets that make it a little extra special too. Denise styled it two ways…the first look is more casual with flared jeans, a black tank, and booties. By the way, these booties by Reiss are super comfortable, have a manageable black heel, and are such a versatile color for fall!
The second way she styled the blazer is a little dressier. She’s wearing the same black tank, black cargo pants, and mules. This would be such a chic, unexpected dinner outfit!
#21) Activewear Shorts & Tee
Denise also grabbed some activewear during the sale. These Zella shorts are a nice length, have a great fit, a comfortable elastic waistband, and cool mesh inserts at the hem for ventilation and style. We love it when fashion and function exist together! She paired it with a basic white tee and the New Balance 327 sneakers.
