When clothing trends circle back after a decade (or 4!) there is usually a fresh, new take on the older style. For example, so many women in Europe were embracing pants with stirrups and this trend has already found its way to the States!  What’s different about the 2022 version of this 80’s inspired look? In the 80’s most of the stirrup pants were fitted, more like leggings. The new take does include some tapered styles, but also less fitted, straight leg, and trouser fits. And, many of the stirrup pants I’m seeing are high-waisted. In addition, women are wearing the stirrup on the outside of their heels, loafers, and flats which I think looks super chic and fresh.
