And I thought this would be a fun one to try.

BEAUTY – I have a confession to make. I am now an avid, beauty YouTube watcher. I blame my friend, and fellow YouTuber, Marnie, aka “MsGoldGirl” for this new time-draining, but fascinating hobby.
Makeup is seemingly so simple and straightforward, and yet the more you dive in, the more ‘looks’ and options there are.
This fairly new obsession has resulted in a whole new makeup collection. One piece, the It Cosmetics CC+ Cream Illumination Foundation. I love the coverage…All of my redness…poof…gone.
But, more importantly I love how natural your skin looks. NOT cakey at all… And it has SPF 50! The CC cream also gives my skin a subtle glow.
It’s a bit pricey at $38, but I think it’s worth it.
I’m also always reaching for my new It Cosmetics Vitality Face Disc. (I have NOT been broached by the company, I swear…although if they want to send me free products, I’m definitely open to it 😉 ).
I use this to highlight and contour my cheekbones… as well as give my face an all-over sun-kissed look. It’s a VERY versatile palette and it’s slim design makes it perfect for travel.
FOOD – If you are what you eat… it’s possible I will turn into a Quest bar….
If you haven’t tried these yet, you don’t know what you are missing. I order the chocolate chip cookie dough ones via Amazon, and get them shipped regularly. I eat them as dessert, mid-day snacks, and sometimes as a meal replacement.
One of my sweet YouTube viewers suggested microwaving the bar for 10 seconds, and then eating… it tastes like a yummy, gooey cookie!
TECHNOLOGY – Have you all seen this amazing device.. The ECHO from Amazon? This thing is crazy cool. Bascially, it’s like Google with a voice. You just ask her a question and she gives you an answer. She also plays music, gives you the news… and local weather reports. It’s pretty futuristic, very Jetsons-like. Now, if only someone would come up with push-button, healthy, fresh dinners.
BONUS: It satiates your little ones endless questions… which I love because just try explaining photosynthesis to a six-year old.
I’m going to have to save up and buy the “Lily.” It’s a self-flying, selfie drone camera….kind of like a flying GoPro. It’s simply awesome.

TRAVEL – I had an amazing time in Telluride, Colorado with my family. Can’t say enough great things about this place. It sits in a box canyon so it’s surround by mountains. The scenery is just stunning. And…it has somehow staved off chain stores, and kept its original, mountain town charm.

FASHION – While I was in Telluride, I popped into two of my favorite shops, Two Skirts and Sublime. I always discover new lines in these trendy boutiques, which is always exciting for me!
This trip I found a sunny little cross-body bag (pictured above) that, well… makes me happy! I love bright yellow… and I am always on the hunt for cool, yellow accessories. This bag fit the bill… and you can’t beat the price! A Rebecca Minkoff bag for $130? Awesome!
I also came across two different, wonderful lines of leather jackets that I had not seen before. Doma and Muubaa. Doma runs small. I found you ladies some options on SALE at Nordstrom Rack! CLICK HERE to shop.
